How popular is vaping compared to smoking in your Balkan country?

Vaping is very popular with younger generations, but it is a very unstable market. Per example, a smoker usually sticks to its brand of prefference, but this behaviour is not relevant for vapers. They use different aromas all the time.

Overall, the combustible (regular cigs) market is going down, with people becoming more interested in heated tobacco products. That market is expanding.

The brand, let’s say Marlboro tastes the same in all the balkan countries. Usually, the raw materials and chemicals come from the same suppliers - in an area such as the balkans so the taste would be the same. I am not sure about the differences between continents, but i am almost positive that the taste would differ, EU might have different regulations than the US per example.

Usually, big tobacco has very big factories in a country that usually also exports for other countries that are in the vecinity.

Basically, they taste the same, but i have to nominate Romania, because i’m romanian.

This is so wrong... vape has way more nicotine than tobacco. Tobacco has tar and carbon monoxide and other things way more but less nicotine on average.

You can vape even without nicotine but most people i know vape crazy amount of nicotine

In America the stereotype of a cig smoker has changed to basically someone who’s broke dirty etc. as opposed to it being cool sexy etc like it was for so long due to movies and advertisements that got banned.

So it’s fallen off a lot vaping is def more popular in terms of people starting it

Vaping is not vitamin b12 for sure, but between 50 cancerigenic chemicals and some glicerine with flavouring, easy pick . The worst downside of vaping is that some coils have metals that can be absorbed . Still better than 50 chemicals though.

When disposables hit the market, the effect was very real. Among the younger people disposables are very very popular. And while smokers kept on smoking, vapes brought in people who didn't have a history of smoking. So now you got people vaping, people smoking, and people vaping and smoking, like me, whenever I want tasteful cancer or heavier cancer.

In Turkey, selling e-cigarette devices is illegal. But they can be very easily obtained through illegal channels. There’s no issue if you bring one from abroad for personal use. Disposable devices? They’re sold pretty much everywhere.

Most likely, someone with connections in the government—probably aligned with the party—is handling the import of these disposable devices.
