Cheapest Garmin pilot ADSB receiver?

Does anyone know what the cheapest option is to get adsb in on Garmin pilot is? It seems that a gdl 50/52 is really the only option

I'll test this next week in the air, but on the ground I noticed that Garmin Pilot saw my AV-Link and was getting GDL90 data from it. The AVLink is connected to a Stratus box. Also I've gotten it to work with a Stratus3...when the Stratus worked...but that's another story.
But I also have a GPS175 that it will connect to via whatever they call their bluetooth connection.

So I think Garmin Pilot only works with Bluetooth ADSB receivers and not wifi. Take that FWIW, I have only seen it work with GDL units and GTX panel units. If you had a shot at something else though it would be via Bluetooth

Does it work with Garmin pilot on iOS and Android or just iOS? The Bluetooth might be an Android limitation but I would love to be enlightened 😀

Stratux works with Garmin pilot….Getting all the parts and assembling it yourself will likely be the cheapest option.

The Android version of GP is horrendous. If they want to differentiate themselves from FF, they really should make an effort in Android development.

Look at stratux. I believe a stratus also works. Wifi based GDL 50 protocol IIRC.
