I've wanted something "green" for a while now. Would love a similar-looking bottle with some kind of neon green liquid. Don't care if it tastes good or not!
So you can refill the bottles with some decent alcohol and keep it on the bar in your ~~man~~ ~~cave~~ nerd lair for cred when the away team beams over for game night.
I've brought their wines in the past simply for the cool looking bottles. The alcohol inside is just a bonus to help me forget I wasted my money on glass.
To all the Redditors who are saying WTF? There has been a big movement in the market for 0% ABV booze. Lots of newer 0.0 beers are getting popular (I’m a bartender and have been selling a lot more) and there are nonalcoholic liquors available that are becoming more mainstream, however I understand that they haven’t quite gotten the flavor profile correct, I haven’t tried any myself. But this is Paramount just cashing in on the trend, it’s what corporations do.
The non-alcoholic beers I understand, they still taste like beer.
But the non-alcoholic liquor is wild, I tried one of the N/A whiskeys and it tasted like instant tea with cinnamon. I was at least expecting some kind of oak taste but they're really just out here slapping labels on shit and selling it.
Yeah, what is non alcoholic gin, just water?? Just sell the glass bottle then. And non alcoholic beers DO have alcohol! They just have much less and it "varies". Fyi, non caffeinated coffee is the same thing. There are no regulations for how much less caffeine can go into that and coffee growers admit they can't remove caffeine well and often don't know how much is in there.
I had to buy the set if nothing but for the bottles. I've got quite the collection of Star Trek bottles — Romulan Ale, Klingon blood wine, Cardassian Kanar, Chateau Picard... These will go nicely with the collection.

So is it alterative or did they mean alternative?

I asked for aldebaran whiskey!

Okay, have you heard about ...
... mint chocolate chip ice cream
abraxas8484@reddit
I recall the ghost buster HI-C drink being the same color green.
GoTeamLightningbolt@reddit
Kinda surprised they haven't come out with a drink line that includes Romulan ale.
MBSMD@reddit
They have. I have two bottles of blue Romulan Ale on my shelf right now.
Hydrax120@reddit
Thats some smooth whiskey!
Desperate-4-Revenue@reddit
Why though
Malnurtured_Snay@reddit
There's a rule of acquisition about a "fool and his or her money" but I don't know which one. In the single digits I think.
QualifiedApathetic@reddit
I don't see that in the Rules of Acquisition. However, there's "A fool and his money are soon parted," an old saying.

Malnurtured_Snay@reddit
Yep, that's the one.
Ggriffinz@reddit
Honestly, i would think Klingon BloodWine would be more popular as a collectable and could actually move units if it uses a good enough base fruit.
MBSMD@reddit
Exists and available
Malnurtured_Snay@reddit
I think they've done that already

I don't drink gin and tequila because it taste good, I drink them to numb the pain that is life and to finally let my brain sleep at night.

The bottles are cool and all, but $94 and its not even real alcolhol?
Kahnza@reddit
Money grab for alcoholic nerds. What's in them is probably bottom shelf quality. You're really just paying for the bottles and name.
habslably@reddit
its non alcoholic tho
