ULPT request Pretending to have a high school diploma

As the title suggests, I currently live in Italy and have been granted funding by the region where I live to undertake a vocational reskilling course, as I am unemployed (the course involves 800 hours of training, plus a job offer from a company upon completion).

Now, the centre that put me on this list to receive the funds didn’t carry out the necessary checks and enquiries, and when the application was passed on to the company, they didn’t bother with it either. However, when I actually go to take the course using these funds, I will in fact need to hold a high school diploma (which I don’t have).

In two weeks’ time, I’ll have to go and sign the documents to receive these funds. In your opinion, what are the chances that the (private) school will check my status if I turn up with the acceptance letter from the job centre and the funds provided by the region already in hand? Will I still be able to take the course even though I don’t have the required qualifications?

The qualifications are regulated by a regional law that is valid only within the region
