Your are the only one being obtuse, deliberately is debatable. This is NOT a good deal, regardless of how it is bundled.

The value isn't there. Unless you are so lazy you think that one click of "add to cart" is worth upcharge $40 vs two clicks of "add to cart" for the mags.

I get it, sometimes "kits" have value when it comes to just paying someone to put all the pieces together so you don't have to remember all the little parts and pieces. You don't have to add umpteen items to your cart and forget to order something, or order the wrong thing. For example I'm too lazy to assemble my own LPK's, I'll just order a kit (BTW they tend to be CHEAPER that way....not nearly double the price). But a AR mag and a AR lower ain't exactly rocket science to piece together. They are charging an idiot tax because they assume some gun newb will panic buy this "special" thinking it is a good deal or is somehow exempt from the new law. When it is objectively not in either case.

For what its worth, I am the business owner (not the post maker) and one thing the helps the deal for virginia is that it also waives the transfer fee. And because VA is like 60ish days from the ban, a lof of FFLs are jacking up the transfer prices to $50+. thats where the deal is really. at least for VA people. :)

Again, it is ONE HORSES special for VA residents. The lower by it self is $70.00 The mags are probably $15 each. So in their mind, knocking 15 off and selling to VA only is their idea of marketing and sales.

The lower is $70 alone (and you can buy other brands for cheaper elsewhere) and the mags are closer to $10/each for pmags, and even less for the hex mags. In fact, if you buy 10 pmags at PSA right now you can get them for around $8 with free shipping.

Yeah I'm just using the 3pack pricing as a "best" case reference point. So if 3pk is 180, we can estimate 1pk is around 60. If you add $15 per pmag then you get 60+45=105 which makes this seem ok if you can make use of the $10 local transfer fee
