Did it actually get 62 million unique visitors or was someone boosting it with bots to sow division? Sounds like a psyop to me.
Also how many genuine visits were men wanting to "learn" and jow many were just ordinary people who heard about some fucked up shit on the internet and clicked a link?
Not that I condone any part of motherless, the actual stats are something like 62 million views on the website total. There was like, 1,000 rapey weirdos in the chat.
People like to say people who are splitting hairs are being unreasonable, but 1400 rapists as versus to 62 million individual rapists is a pretty wide chasm for a major international news org to not cover with honest representation of the fighres.
To be fair CNN reported it rather acuratly, but it is being missrepresented by people re-sharing this story. Perhaps some people did not understood the article, other people are ignorant, and some other are just puting large number for the clicks.
Yea that's a collosal difference, and a difference worth pointing out. 62,000,000 men would mean that virtually everyone knows at least a couple people in that group. 1400 is probably smaller than the number of serial killers in the world, so not the type of person you or any of your friends and family would ever be likely to encounter.Â
CNN did actually report it correctly but people ran with the figure.
For some comparison the 1,000/62m difference is roughly the difference between picking a single correct grain of sand out of a 16oz cup and 1out of 3 men in the United States.
the 62 mill is all pageviews (not uniques) of the site motherless, which the article says
but there were telegram groups with thousands of people, like one telegram group with 70k where men were teaching other how to rape their wives without being caught and sharing images and live videos of their rapes source
Men having groups for teaching each other how to rape women with 70k members isn't anything to make note of? Lmao no wonder women avoid men if that's so normal
70k members in a group that isn't limited to a single country, meaning out of the billion of men that could've joined, only 70k actually joined---that's less than .5% of total men in the world.
I really do wonder if some of y'all were born yesterday as you really do act like you've just found out evil people existed. Obviously, this is terrible, disgusting and evil---no amount of synonyms could ever account for how bad this is- but like... It's just how some people are, and until it gets to the point where it makes up a major percentage of the world, then there's honestly no point of stressing about it.
You can't live on ice shells your whole just because a very small amount of people are evil.
that's cute but it's not 70k men in the entire world, it's 70k in one single group... I don't know if you actually believe that it's a small non issue or just saying it, but 30-50% of women experience sexual assault and violence in their lives. If that's "honestly no point of stressing about it" to you then that shows how much you care about what women go through. The sleep thing is just the worst of it all because it makes you realize that you can never trust someone, because many of these men were seemingly good and caring husbands who were never violent
and not dating is not living in an ice shell. I'm very happy only dating women bc I'm bi, but more and more women are happy single and not looking to date at all
Yeah it wasnât 70k in a single group. Maybe if you spent more time working on your literacy and reading the actual articles you link youâd improve your life.
70k members is the total estimate for groups like that. Itâs the population number.
Thatâs less than .007% of the English speaking male population, and youâd better believe there are some women in those too.
Iâm sure you equally apply this standard to other groups, yes?
Itâs like you goobers forgot there was a whole island thing that exclusively had the most powerful people abusing kids and somehow even that got out with piles of evidence against them.
The fact the big number comes from a porn website tells me whoever made this piece was doing it to sow fear and not faithfully report. 70k is pretty scary if itâs true, but burying the lede is exactly what they need to do with bullshit information so itâs less bullshit.
My real point is that shit like this happens everywhere, all the time. No point dancing around if thereâs any actual truth to it. Report it properly so the people suffering have an actual base to be heard/get help.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, there are only 70k in that single group, but that group, in particular, could've pulled from a pool of over 4 billion different men. That's why it is so insignificant, because out all the men which could've been a part of that group, only 70k were.
Sexual assault often has a broad definition, and that statstic likely isn't as bad as it may seem. Not only that, but that statstistic only accounts for the Women that took part in the survey. Taking at face value, without any nuance, yeah, that's a really big issue, but that's not what we were talking about.
I never said it wasn't terrible, just that it isn't worth stressing over. There's communities all over the internet that take part in horrid crimes like this, and it's just something I've become accustomed to seeing. Not because it's common, but because some people are truly just that depraved and once you realize that you kinda stop caring as you recognize it as a constant to life; just pray or hope that it doesn't happen to you or the people in your life and keep it pushing.
See, the constant need to care about any and all things is noble in nature but harmful in practice. Some things are just out of our hands and once we realize that life becomes a lot easier.
Fr. The united states has a president who associated with people who did worse, and has worse accusations. But yes lets start a gender war over some creepy small group that everyone obviously condemns.

Annoying that ill somehow be counted towards this tally for clicking on a grainy video or two of some hillbilly fucking his trashy wife (who was awake)
Jesus Christian leave it to CNN to inflate the stats. Motherless is just a website for shock value porn you sent to your fellow teenage friends for fun, to equate the whole page visits number to "actively learning SA tricks" is beyond regarded.
The site hosts regular hardcore porn as well, but is probably most known for the "sleep content" on it, showing unconscious women being assaulted/raped. The telegram and other groups were advertised there to bring people in but not on the motherless site itself

it was 62 millions hits on the porn site motherless. The "rape academy" in question was a telegram group with just below 1k members that could be found from there
It wasn't even the mainstream media. CNN's article talks about the difference. It's social media users that spread the misinformation then called people dangerous or misogynists because "now is not the time to worry about exact numbers"
Did they have 62 millon in their titles? At least did they clarify about how web visits work and the site itself not being the problem? Idk, maintream media loves to spread drama and alineation about everything, specially gender/race wars. But yeah i forgot to mention social media too
Wait they're talking about Motherless??? That's the evil "rape academy" they're talking about??? I mean, yeah there's some fucked shit on there, but the majority is obscure, low quality amateur shit and incest porn (the good stuff, not the lame "step" bullshit).
1,000 for the actual âacademyâ, which was a telegram group chat.
The 62 million number is the number of visitors to an uncensored video hosting site. Not even the number of views for the worst illegal videos. Just total visitors.
Literally just lies. The numbers are really , really clear if you read the original article. Absolutely intentional by whoever spread it first, then took on a life of its own because everyone is so damn illiterate.
They mean visitors to the site (which is a morally-iffy-but-legal porn site in general) as a whole, I don't know if there's stats on whatever videos were being watched.
In my experience, this includes the unfortunate addition of scat and pee porn. This makes thumbnail scanning on there impossible without losing your boner. This wasn't the case with the original PH, if I recall.
I got banned from kitchenconfidential because I told someone that shoehorned in the bear or man argument to âstop with the gender war bullshitâ, on a horrible article about a poor woman getting stabbed. I swear that is only propagated because someone wants to sow division even more amongst us.
No, it didn't. There was a general pron site with 62mn viewers. Attached to the pron site was a private chat with a few hundred awkward weirdos doing this stuff as a LARP.
It's literally a porn site that had 62 mil views and had categories from cam girl to blonde to bondage and it was open access so people uploaded illegal stuff like beastiality. Those views were for all porn categories of an entire porn site there was a telegram group or something with 1000 men and that's about the traction that specific page of the "rape academy " had. Still a lot of guys, but that's a very different number than 62 million.
It was a group chat with i dont remember how many members but less than 200, that was spread on a porn site that had 62 million views, not even unique visitors.
afaik, not even that specific site got 62 million unique visitors but rsther 62 monthly views. a tiny percentage of those views (again.. views, not unique visitors) were engaging with that particular content. how many of those views were individual users and specifically men or women? nobody knows, and the ones upset the most about this "whocking" news are also the ones who don't want to know the least
It was a small bored of guys talking about sleep porn on a porn site. About 1000 people were on it. CNN then counted every single person that visited the entire porn site, 62 million, as being a part of it for some reason.
If you read the cnn article, the 62 million is the number of visits to motherless in a month. Its a porn site that has a small amount of the fetish sleep sex stuff that the article is about.
The "rape academy" was a telegram group with a couple hundred eastern europeans.
It was posted to motherless which has 62 million visitors a month. So this is like posting that same video on pornhub and saying 800 million people attended because that's how many visited pornhub in a month. Pointing this out makes you a supporter of the academy somehow (I'm obviously not... It should have been banned imo) the actual number of view is probably a small fraction of 62 million but I think any and all things involving drugging or sleep have been nuked from motherless.
62 million was on the porn site in general. The 62 million is disingenuous and gives people an opportunity to diminish the 100k people on the actual website I agree IS a rape academy.
I don't like how even mainstream porn sites have headlines basically describing assault. Half the step family scenarios are crimes.
Some time ago it was posted on another subreddit and as per comments there it seems that there was in fact some group on telegram that discussed giving drugs to their wifes to rape them in their sleep, and within that group someone was postibg videos (what a sick fucks btw) on a porn website.
This porn website had 62m views in total, but it have mostly just a regular porn content, and it is not unexpected.
See - this is a serious issue. Not only those repists drugged, and assutled their wifes but as well record it, exchanged those videos and even posted it to the internet.
However if you will change it to some rage bait, the whole thing will look untrustworthy. There is no chance that there can be a secret sociaty 62m people, and people will start to discuss this rather than issue itself that do not need to be feeded with those fake numbers. It is important issue, and realy a shame that someone decided to use it as a bait to generate even more clicks.
On the kther hand bait worked - we are talking about it, so perhaps that was the point?
This is the most obvious psyop ever, and itâs so funny watching women fall for a âmen bad, men evil rapistsâ again, and now that they are riled up, the next time someone talks about censoring the internet, they can use this to get masses of women to mindlessly support it, itâs so predictable
Reminds me of the game "The incredible fear machine" where you use a machine to spread fears and conspiracy theories across diffrent countries to achieve malicious political goals
I mean that it seems to count every time the site is loaded. For instance, if you go on the site, pick and watch a video then go back and choose another one, it would count 4 visits just from that.
Noo, it was still millions probably, it's a pornography website. And the rape academy group chats also unfortunately had thousands of individual perverted freaks as well. But yes, thankfully, there weren't 63 million men learning how to stealth rape.
It's just the monthly access to a porn site. It would be like saying the 300 million users on reddit attend a goon academy because the gooning subreddit exists. Actually the numbers on that one are even smaller
yeah that might be true but iâm a true red blooded american, so i think women should be arming themselves for defense more often than they do anyways.Â
wth are you talking about ? this is so many levels of strawmanning i donât even know what youâre trying to say. do i really have to explain to you theyâre buying guns bc theyâre afraid of being attacked by men irl, and this article is just confirmation for underlying fears ?
Basically a korean feminist movement. The 4b stand for no dating, no marriage, no children and no sex with men. All starting witj the letter b in korean
It's really not. Even in Korea they are considered to be people that fell out of the dating scene because of how they look/act and had to resort to mental gymnastics to justify their disdain for men.
They are doing it in the name of feminism. The gender war is very extreme there, I assume because the general living situation sucks and they need something to blame.
No, it's a feminist movement. It's pushing back against all the misogyny in SK, which is a serious issue. It's not just about celibacy, they're basically protesting men.
I hate that it went viral exactly because of the exorbitant numbers, but when people started correcting it(including women, before anyone gives me shit), suddenly they're like "omg who cares it's not about the numbers".
Itâs really not that hard to have a conversation with your partner on consent. âCan I fuck you while you sleep, jerk off on you while you sleepâ etc is a lot fucking easier than you think cause women latch onto their partners.
It doesn't matter anyway because that number is the number of visits to a porn site similar to Pornhub. People are illiterate as fuck so that number spread like wildfire
Good. Natural selection. Women who leave their partners or go full misandry over a dumb hoax like that one are all bullets that were dodged and it's better if they don't procreate...
There is absolutely not a chance this is real. That's more than 1% of all men on the planet, and more than 8% of English speaking men. That's an insane number. Even if 1% of all men were rapists or trying to be rapists, how would so many people know about this seminar?
It isn't, it's misrepresenting a CNN article. The "academy" is real but it only had about 1,000 members, although it's not the only one of its type. The 62 million figure refers to the total visits to a different website.
either way, the reaction and fact a lot of people thought this was in any way believable, highlights something very concerning about how we as men make women feel in general (which is fear)
maybe if we all had been holding eachother responsible this whole time, women wouldnât have been forced to take precautions like this. sad, really, but the only way past this is for men to earn womenâs trust back en masse.Â
Increase in conceal carry permits for women is a win in my opinion I feel like a majority of women's social issues can be resolved by carrying and i love that for the ones who go that route
Gender war to distract you from the elites buying up all your assets. On top of race war, religious war and class war specifically between working class and middle class as BlackRock laughs while hoovering up your nations properties
Wiki tells me it was a Korean culture war thing in the 2010s, after a Korean incel killed a woman and blamed it on women ignoring him and a small group of feminists decided that the solution to inequality was doing the Lysistrata thing.
As far as the green text goes, I have no idea what they are going on about.
Do not worry, a german group of joirnalists exposed this rape group one or two years ago and literally nothing happened. Even the police didn't do anything because they accidentally deleted the email with all tge evidence they got.

They mean visitors to the site (which is a morally-iffy-but-legal porn site in general) as a whole, I don't know if there's stats on whatever videos were being watched.
abdallha-smith@reddit
So basically pornhub before the "purge"
BrunesOvrBrauns@reddit
In my experience, this includes the unfortunate addition of scat and pee porn. This makes thumbnail scanning on there impossible without losing your boner. This wasn't the case with the original PH, if I recall.
DoJ-Mole@reddit
Maybe, it had its own purge a few years back or so. Used to be some really questionable stuff on there
Common_Vagrant@reddit
I got banned from kitchenconfidential because I told someone that shoehorned in the bear or man argument to âstop with the gender war bullshitâ, on a horrible article about a poor woman getting stabbed. I swear that is only propagated because someone wants to sow division even more amongst us.
Safe_Yoghurt_631@reddit
No, it didn't. There was a general pron site with 62mn viewers. Attached to the pron site was a private chat with a few hundred awkward weirdos doing this stuff as a LARP.
Generally_Confused1@reddit
It's literally a porn site that had 62 mil views and had categories from cam girl to blonde to bondage and it was open access so people uploaded illegal stuff like beastiality. Those views were for all porn categories of an entire porn site there was a telegram group or something with 1000 men and that's about the traction that specific page of the "rape academy " had. Still a lot of guys, but that's a very different number than 62 million.
It's rage bait articles with dishonest statistics
Ubblebungus@reddit
and where were many of these user based? some regions have worse rape culture and statistics than others
airfryerfuntime@reddit
61 million Indians.
steeler1003@reddit
It was a group chat with i dont remember how many members but less than 200, that was spread on a porn site that had 62 million views, not even unique visitors.
CNN being CNN
anonareyouokay@reddit
From what I have heard, there was a lot of other content on that site too. It's also counting traffic around the world, not just in one country.
jerdle_reddit@reddit
The entire porn site had 62 million pageviews.
The "rape academy" had a bit under a thousand members.
NeevBunny@reddit
It's 62 million visitors to the website hosting the content, not necessarily clicks on the content.
Bloodhoven_aka_Loner@reddit
afaik, not even that specific site got 62 million unique visitors but rsther 62 monthly views. a tiny percentage of those views (again.. views, not unique visitors) were engaging with that particular content. how many of those views were individual users and specifically men or women? nobody knows, and the ones upset the most about this "whocking" news are also the ones who don't want to know the least
Cyberbug7@reddit
It was a small bored of guys talking about sleep porn on a porn site. About 1000 people were on it. CNN then counted every single person that visited the entire porn site, 62 million, as being a part of it for some reason.
JeffyGoldblumsPen_15@reddit
No it was a telegram group of a few thousand psychos. But because they were linking from the site. It's 62 million đ.
UnlikelyPerogi@reddit
If you read the cnn article, the 62 million is the number of visits to motherless in a month. Its a porn site that has a small amount of the fetish sleep sex stuff that the article is about.
The "rape academy" was a telegram group with a couple hundred eastern europeans.
pocketgravel@reddit
It was posted to motherless which has 62 million visitors a month. So this is like posting that same video on pornhub and saying 800 million people attended because that's how many visited pornhub in a month. Pointing this out makes you a supporter of the academy somehow (I'm obviously not... It should have been banned imo) the actual number of view is probably a small fraction of 62 million but I think any and all things involving drugging or sleep have been nuked from motherless.
Hellkitedrak@reddit
It was more like 62 million views. What does that actually mean? Fuck if I know .
Vast-Combination4046@reddit
62 million was on the porn site in general. The 62 million is disingenuous and gives people an opportunity to diminish the 100k people on the actual website I agree IS a rape academy.
I don't like how even mainstream porn sites have headlines basically describing assault. Half the step family scenarios are crimes.
Kru1zer@reddit
62 million to the host site, the sub section is obviously much lower but it generates outrage for clicks.
Krwawykurczak@reddit
Seems to be a rage bait, but partialy true

Maybe its just Sydney users with vpns. That city is well known for rape.
wrongitsleviosaa@reddit
Site visits apparently, so not even unique.
TKRAYKATS@reddit
Wait, you mean they only go once on this site ?
wrongitsleviosaa@reddit
I mean that it seems to count every time the site is loaded. For instance, if you go on the site, pick and watch a video then go back and choose another one, it would count 4 visits just from that.
TKRAYKATS@reddit
You mean 4 mens came on this website right ?
wrongitsleviosaa@reddit
Noo, it was still millions probably, it's a pornography website. And the rape academy group chats also unfortunately had thousands of individual perverted freaks as well. But yes, thankfully, there weren't 63 million men learning how to stealth rape.
NCD_Lardum_AS@reddit
On a porn site.
The actual groups are a couple thousand. Which tbf is still way too many, but also nowhere near what it's been made out to be.
ElectroMagnetsYo@reddit
Whatâs that number come down to after removing visitors with Indian IP addresses
PlatypusOk5108@reddit
It's just the monthly access to a porn site. It would be like saying the 300 million users on reddit attend a goon academy because the gooning subreddit exists. Actually the numbers on that one are even smaller

What's 4B
SturmflutAtlas_@reddit
Basically a korean feminist movement. The 4b stand for no dating, no marriage, no children and no sex with men. All starting witj the letter b in korean
Derfel995@reddit
Based on what moon channel told me about Korean men they are onto something lol
AlarmedConfidence563@reddit
It's really not. Even in Korea they are considered to be people that fell out of the dating scene because of how they look/act and had to resort to mental gymnastics to justify their disdain for men.
These people weren't really sexhavers.
Thooth124@reddit
Yeah most asian cultures still have strict gender roles and such.
As well as terrible work culture.

SummerFlavoured@reddit

Thick_General9657@reddit
No they're doing this on their own accord as a form of protest.
TFreshNoLimits@reddit
Thatâs a volcel movement not a feminist movement
Thooth124@reddit
They are doing it in the name of feminism. The gender war is very extreme there, I assume because the general living situation sucks and they need something to blame.

Also comfort women were slandered as collaboranists until the 1990s.

airfryerfuntime@reddit
No, it's a feminist movement. It's pushing back against all the misogyny in SK, which is a serious issue. It's not just about celibacy, they're basically protesting men.
Barloq@reddit
Also look up the tiny penis conspiracy, SK men are fucking unhinged losers.
Derfel995@reddit
đ€ LMAO
Moblin81@reddit

the headline in the OP is complete bunk. It comes from a CNN exposé of the porn site Motherless, which gets around 62 million visitors. The site features plenty of inoffensive content, and the article notes the most popular "sleep assault" video they could find had 50k views.
MonkeManWPG@reddit
The CNN peice never made the 62 million claim, that bit is a misunderstanding or deliberate misrepresentation that went viral on social media.
TKRAYKATS@reddit
It's easy to get lot of attention with big numbers
mydickisasalad@reddit
I hate that it went viral exactly because of the exorbitant numbers, but when people started correcting it(including women, before anyone gives me shit), suddenly they're like "omg who cares it's not about the numbers".

62 million men in ONE month is absolutely insane and not real
BingBongFyourWife@reddit
Also, key word here, GLOBAL
62 million divided by 8 billion gives you 0.00775, or 0.775% of the worlds population accessed the site. Not even 1%
And thatâs IF every accessing of the site was genuine
And letâs also be honest, which part of the world were the people that accessed it from
This is so stupid
a7x5631@reddit
It doesn't matter anyway because that number is the number of visits to a porn site similar to Pornhub. People are illiterate as fuck so that number spread like wildfire

Kirkelburg@reddit
There is absolutely not a chance this is real. That's more than 1% of all men on the planet, and more than 8% of English speaking men. That's an insane number. Even if 1% of all men were rapists or trying to be rapists, how would so many people know about this seminar?
MonkeManWPG@reddit
It isn't, it's misrepresenting a CNN article. The "academy" is real but it only had about 1,000 members, although it's not the only one of its type. The 62 million figure refers to the total visits to a different website.
bisky12@reddit
either way, the reaction and fact a lot of people thought this was in any way believable, highlights something very concerning about how we as men make women feel in general (which is fear)
L_Vayne@reddit
Imagine how fucked up you have to be to misrepresent and exaggerate claims about rape.
bisky12@reddit
