Actually, I just noticed that I have a photo of this exact boat on the pier between the ferries. If you're the owner of this boat, DM me for the photo!

Let me just dox myself cos some nosy mf on Reddit wants to judge my shitty boat

Are they not good?

The worst of sailing meets the worst of power boating. Attempted to be a compromise of a sail boat and speed boat. It's neither.

When I visited Inishmor last year the only small sailboat I saw was a Mac26. People can bash them all they want, but they're capable cruisers.

Great marketing team though

That’s interesting. Here in NZ MacGregors are always a lot pricier too than other used trailer sailers.

It’s a name brand people recognize, not necessarily as a mark of quality

The upside is you can beach them. Run them aground intentionally to spend an afternoon on an island.

Someone who doesn't know how to secure their mast base to the hanger on the pulpit.

Cannot blame them, it's a hell of a windy spot out there.

The Bar and Tigh Joe Mac are all in walking distance, you might find them there.

Nobody will admit to it.
