Questions for BA Speedbird Academy 2026

Hi everyone! I am looking to apply for the BA Speedbird academy next year. There’s not many resources online to practise with, for example BA only has one pdf on their website.
It would be nice to see the past questions but unfortunately they are not online.
If you remember the exact questions for any of the tests, eg maths, listening, SJT or anything please let me know!
Thanks

Hey there, I just did my assessments and now I am waiting for the video interview, finger's crossed.
I am not allowed to tell you the exact questions because I am pretty sure it's prohibited, but I can tell you what topics showed up.
I came across ratio problems, simple metric conversion, and knowing the equation of speed is useful too. If you did well in your GCSEs then you'll do well in these exams. They're timed so work on solving similar problems as quick as possible with a calculator, pen, and paper.
For the SJT, you can search up 'SJT Practice Test' and you'll get a ton of resources to practice from. Look up BA's competencies, because those are very important. The listening assessment is pretty straight forward, you can use a pen and paper, but I just had notepad open in another tab to write quick notes on. You'll only have enough time to listen to the audio once so use your time well. They will tell you this before you start and also give you time to do example questions.
The error-checking is also standard, you just have to be quick to notice small details that don't align, they'll also give you example questions on that.
I found the listening assessment the hardest due to timed constraints.
Best of luck to you.

Just a quick question about the video interviews. I finished the application and got a code but nothing about a video interview? Is that normal?

sounds like you didn't actually apply - the instructions were pretty clear, you did all the pre-assessment stuff (there were a fair few questions in it, and you did have to write quiet a bit in answer to some of them) and this then gave you a code at the end and if you read it (properly), it also gave you a link and told you where to find the section for the main application - you then use the code on the main application where you answered some questions, one of which was what was your code and submitted your CV etc and submitted that as the main application. TBH if you bothered to look round the pre-application portal there was a forum section and the question about the code was asked loads of times and the recruitment team did explain the process in reply to quite a few people.
The pre-application stuff was not an application it was more of a "is this career right for you" kind of task. You will have to try and apply next year if they run it again, but......just being honest here, genuinely not trying to be mean or rude - I think anyone who failed at that first hurdle (and there were many as I have seen this "question" about getting the code and hearing nothing back a few times) probably needs to go back and assess if this is going to be the career for them and if it is, then spend the next 12 months working on their skills and pilot competencies, especially around attention to detail, I mean one of the tests down the line is detailed checking! I think BA have used this pre-application system this year to self wean a lot of the candidates to save them the mammoth job for everyone who puts a main application in! Sorry to be the barer of bad news mate!

For maths, ratios are key. Most questions used ratios. Even things like unit and currency conversion can be done using ratios.
Percentages also came up a bit
