Anyone else remember seeing this in the 90s?
sprolololoo@reddit

Verbull710@reddit
Never saw it
L31121@reddit
Love this scene, but bittersweet
evanweb546@reddit
His vibe helped revive pro wrestler Sting's career in the mid-90's.
This_Fkn_Guy_@reddit
The movie is awesome and the soundtrack was just as good if not better.
Squish_Miss@reddit
90s soundtracks are unmatched.
chihsuanmen@reddit
The Mortal Kombat soundtrack is solid.
J_C_Davis45@reddit
Donât forget Tank Girl and Natural Born Killers. So many good 90s soundtracks.

Spawn soundtrack
Illustrious-Highway8@reddit
Did you know itâs based on a Scandinavian church song?
Illustrious-Highway8@reddit
Itâs a Finnish hymn.
MCA2142@reddit
First time Iâve heard STPâs âBig Emptyâ. Such a great song.
UbiquitousBot@reddit
Yes! Me as a baby bat melodramatically lip syncing to "Burn" like my life depended on it.
Wife_Trash@reddit
Adult me flipped out when they played this live.
ConfidenceFragrant80@reddit
Well the Cure is one of the most fucking amazing bands of our time so
Future-Raisin3781@reddit
I got the 4K bluray recently and was amazed by how good it looks and sounds. My old VHS/DVD copies all looked kind of crappy because it's so dark and old formats just couldn't do it justice.
sidneyjoy@reddit
I had the regular and the instrumental, both were rotated on my discman to fall asleep to.
loztriforce@reddit
I wish I still had my fuzzy Crow poster

Does he also believe that âwhatever doesnât kill you, simply makes you ⌠stranger.â

It's one of my all time favs. My Dad and my teenager love it too. We are all giant dorks that quote it all the time.

Am I the only one that laughs like a degenerate when that dude gets hit by the car?
It's perfect writing: He's a murdering, raping piece of dogshit. Granted, he doesn't die there, but it provides a moment of comedic relief.
_somelikeithot@reddit
Ok I was not cool, I didnât watch this movie then, but it reminds me of when I was in 8th grade. This guy, that I sorta liked and he sorta liked me, said he was going to be the crow for Halloween and I said âha, youâre going to be a bird?â The embarrassment has stayed with me, even through 30 years!
DegenGraded@reddit
Any movie that has Thrill Kill Kult playing in the villains den is going to be good

It can't rain all the time.
Constant_Cultural@reddit
Brendan made this movie immortal ironically by not surviving it.
Konnorwolf@reddit
I re-watched this back on August 31 2024 because I was thinking that I had not seen this film since the 90's and even that puts my memory to the test of only seeing it once.
Lord-Sinestro@reddit
Some of my favorite memories are seeing soundtrack cuts live from the artist. Top of that list was seeing Thrill Kill perform After the Flesh live. Also on that list is Fear Factory performing Zero Signal from Mortal Kombat, Praga Khan performing Techno Syndrome, and Dokken performing Dream Warriors from Elm Street 3.

Remember how every Halloween at least 4 dudes dressed as Eric Draven at every party until like 2005
flamingknifepenis@reddit
As a black wearing edgy high school sad boy, this movie was life changing for me.
⌠not because it awakened something in me (I was that way before I saw it), but because the goth girlies would hear I hadnât seen it, invite me over to watch it, and then weâd fool around the whole time instead.
It wasnât even intentional because I really did want to watch it and always planned on watching it, but it never really panned out.
I must have ânot seenâ that movie a half dozen times before I saw the whole thing. I knew the first half like the back of my black nail polish covered hand, but it got increasingly fuzzy as it went on.
delldarlin@reddit
Holds up remarkably well. Also recommend Alex Proyas' follow-up Dark City.
Puzzleheaded_Race_90@reddit
I was just listening to the soundtrack the other night. This and judgement night are the two best soundtracks ever
Ultimate-Flexionator@reddit
I went to high school with this kid Chris who looked like the crow character and wa obsessed with it. He also was obsessed with the undertaker wrestler. It was a thing.

My oldest son just bought the graphic novel a few days ago.
Squatch1982@reddit
Your oldest son is way cooler than his peers. Good job on that one.
YcemeteryTreeY@reddit
There will always be those cult fans who think Brandon was murdered by the mafia
tettoffensive@reddit
I listened to this soundtrack over and over
ghostfromtheshell@reddit
You have to admire the dedication of those henchmen because I'm leaving after the first hundred rounds this guy eats
HomelessKitchenCat@reddit
This movie created a whole generation of goth high schoolers
Negative-Wrap95@reddit
So many baby bats awakened by that movie. I was certainly one.
hackermannn01@reddit
My favorite movie of all time, and of course loved the soundtrack!
juggalojedi@reddit
modeled my senior year on this movie

"Well you can't have him" I always liked this scene
Slamnflwrchild@reddit
My favorite movie of all time. Iâve easily seen it 50 times. I saw it recently in the theater when it was rereleased for its anniversary. Itâs still just so beautiful and amazing. Itâs a meaningful, powerful movie that got me through a lot as a teenager.
thesmallprints@reddit
I can still recite every line verbatim to this day đ . I watched the hell out of this movie, it was (and still is) one of my most favorites.
hamburgler26@reddit
One of those movies where I heard the soundtrack many times before I saw the movie.
Great movie.
flipzyshitzy@reddit
90's chick flic disguised as a dude flic.
el_pinko_grande@reddit
This is literally the first movie that made me like action films. All the cheesy 80's action movies left me completely cold, but The Crow? It was the first time I was actually emotionally invested in what was happening on screen in an action film, and I loved it.

I tried to put "I feel like little worm on a big f$%&in hook" as my senior yearbook quote because i was SO EDGY.
