75% fuel tanks
Planning on keeping it at 50%-60% I should be good right ?
Freightliner15@reddit
Do you have an APU?
12inchSpindle@reddit
I was just about to ask that. 550 lb allowance right?
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Yes. Should be fine depending on the dot mood
Freightliner15@reddit
I've ran 34,200-34,400 on the drives full fuel and never had issues at scale houses
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
In idaho ?
Freightliner15@reddit
I believe Idaho follows the federal limits for APU weight which is up to 400 pounds.
Freightliner15@reddit
No. I run east of 35 with my current company.
PeteinaPete@reddit
Good example here of the fifth wheel in the wrong place. Try for 12,500 on the front and pretty much every load after that can be adjusted on the tandems. Not often you get maxed out like this so use the opportunity

I’m not from the states but 80 000lb seems not that heavy to me
McJesusOurSaviour@reddit
He’s worried about being 100lbs over on his drives….
And 80k lb is not that heavy. I’ve never ran a load less than 98k lb since I started.
DuubyDuu@reddit
In the states, without extra permits. 80k is our max. 12k steer 34k and 34k
Correct_Writer_3410@reddit
You can have up to 20k on steers
DuubyDuu@reddit
Federally, legally yes. But its also based on what the tires are weighted and you will get fined if you're over that. Most steers combined dont rate above 12-13k in my experience. My school always told us 12, 34, 34 as a memory tool. Im sure you have a lot more experience than I. 🫡
hotdog11inch@reddit
If you eat at Taco bell you will loose more than you gain
Ok_Bug_6470@reddit
You are overweight
nicerakk@reddit
I bet you're loading salt or some kind of dog kibble. Something that's nugget or grain sized. Could be beer or soda too I guess
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Eggs/ reefer load
nicerakk@reddit
Just larger than a nugget lol
bulldog522002@reddit
You will burn enough fuel to be legal on your drives.
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Yup will maintain it at 60% so it can be good
Might move my chains from drives to the passenger seat leg room temporarily, that might help
Kindly_Region@reddit
Just hang out at taco bell for about 20 minutes. You'll be offloading anything you consumed there
Lopsided-Bath-8404@reddit
Man this was me today too smh
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Hauling ass literally
WY mountains gon whip my ass
Lopsided-Bath-8404@reddit
Yeah Montana mountains and the Dakota high winds whooped my ass the last few days
Be-It-coin@reddit
Your totally fine.
thesheepthatwent_moo@reddit
Where you at OP
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Heading to Portland thru 84
Idaho WS is my only concern
truckeredditor@reddit
Throw out your piss jug collection.
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
That’s the answer right here
Rogerdodgerbilly@reddit
Drive in circles for 20 miles
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Like a dog chasing his tail lol
FAYMKONZ@reddit
I wouldnt worry. But if youre really paranoid slide your 5th wheel forward 1 notch.
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Yea imma keep it at 60% fuel
Idaho WS don’t play
Exnoss69@reddit
This is the way. Should transfer about 250 lbs to the steers
Quiet_Molasses_3362@reddit
Taco bell should clean the pipes out
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Guts finna be happy as hell
pianodude01@reddit
Just slide the driver seat forward a click, itll move 300 lbs closer to the steer
Individual_Wasabi669@reddit (OP)
Seat is already all the way forward
ThePeterbilt589@reddit
Oof, that was a solid burn 🔥
ExpensiveLocation237@reddit
Ehh, you’ll shit it out before the next weigh station.
WarmWriter1542@reddit
Its fine you got apu exemp
Possumjones@reddit
Just poop before Taco Bell.
Capt_Cyral@reddit
Wait q0 minutes after eating Taco Bell, you will lose that extra lbs.🤣
Sad_Conversation9857@reddit

RoadRatzzz@reddit
