I have seen it two or three times in my life, over 20 years ago. I was with my mom once and I can remember her calling it the weeniemobile and I thought that was so funny. I was probably like 9. The other time I can remember clearly, I was driving age and saw it parked at a gas station. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it on the highway once but I could be making that up. It was important enough to be filed into my long term memory the first two times.

Some of the first songs my mom taught me when I was a toddler were the Oscar Meyer jingles.

We got to visit when they made a stop at our local grocery store last spring. We were driving down the highway and my six year old scared the crap out of me when she screamed, Mom, why is there a giant hot dog sitting in the parking lot?!” We weren’t heading anywhere important, so I circled back around and we got to do the full tour.
