Can anyone identify this side charging piston AR?

What makes you think they're piston?
CAVguy114@reddit (OP)
No buffer tube. I didn't even consider that they would be Semi-Auto shotguns.
Salsalito_Turkey@reddit
Pistons and buffer tubes are unrelated. They have nothing at all to do with each other. For example: The HK416 is a piston gun with a buffer tube. The FM15 is a buffer-less DI gun.

To be fair to OP, there are many more piston designs without buffer tubes than DI designs….
CAVguy114@reddit (OP)
Outside of the FM15 I don't think there's a single DI AR with an internal recoil system.
I didn't imply that it was impossible to have a DI gun w/o a buffer tube, but that when you see a self contained recoil spring system, its almost always a piston driven design.

ZM, Extar, Olympic, LAW, Perun. Does Daewoo count? There's more but I have shit memory. A while back I did a comprehensive list and there were slightly more DI guns than piston.

LR300 rn

You have about an equal chance of running into Bigfoot as coming across an LR300.

Piston is an unlocking mechanism, it goes on the barrel. The return spring being in the stock or not is unrelated.
