It's such a shame how much they drifted from "linux for human beings." I appreciate how much Canonical and Ubuntu did to make Linux more accessible. They did so much for the Linux world and there but they really did lose their way in the 2010s. I stubbornly stuck with it until last year when I distrohopped quite a bit before landing on Fedora. As for being accessible, while it isn't my favorite, I feel like Mint is probably the closest thing to what Ubuntu was supposed to be.
