How not to aim a gun. (presumably from an old open day event with the chinese ground force.)

你他妈再玩我吧?
Along the lines of "You better be motherfucking kidding me" if translated, and is what I would say myself
RogueDragon1@reddit
Shouldn't it be 你他妈在玩我吧?
再would imply again
MikeAlpha2nd@reddit
Yeah you're right, minor spelling mistake, my Chinese is rusty, haven't written Chinese very often for a long time
RogueDragon1@reddit
Lol same here. At this point I can't even write, only type.

That’s what happens when you have to train people who have never handed a firearm how to handle a firearm. Having a civilian populace familiar with firearms is a huge advantage when you have to train a bunch of recruits in a hurry. Even if they aren’t skilled, they at least know how to hold it in the right direction and how to aim it.
lukas_aa@reddit
They don‘t even need that much. Aiming in the right direction is assured by those 2 wire strings.

In china there is military training during college for foot drills and shooting(i think);
the comments(on weibo) were all joking how this dude probably failed.

If they're actually familiar and not hopped up on fuddlore and "common knowledge"

The most enthusiastic fudds I know are all former military. The “that’s how we did it in the military, so it must be right” mentality is very strong amongst vets.

Yup. My dad was on the marinecorps pistol team, and he insists to this day that the traditional target shooting technique (one handed gun with other hand tucked into pocket) is the correct way to hold and shoot a pistol. It was, in the 1970s, for target shooting, but not for modern close range self defense, lol.

Glad to see around the world their are ppl who just don't know, still love going back to the video of the private who notified the drill instructor his gun stopped shooting (he was out of ammo)

Looks like military day at some event or a school. Same shit you would see in the us.
Key-Needleworker-702@reddit (OP)
yep very likely, PLAGF doesn't do base open days like PLAN does
they do visit schools on army day(august 1) though
technical_righter@reddit
I take a lot of people shooting who may never go again. My first priority is safety. Then their comfort (are they doing something that will hurt). My level of care for their form is 0 if it doesn't affect priority 1 or 2. Have seen people trying so hard to make newbies have perfect form that they've ensured that the experience is miserable and the person will never touch a gun again. That's dumb. But that doesn't mean you don't do this look sometimes - even if only in your head.
NoobPolan@reddit
I've come to notice that the functions of some parts of a weapon does not come naturally to some people.

No joke, I once instructed a friend who did something like this and I found out he was just cross-eye dominant.
I think he was one of those people who was left-handed but trained during childhood to do things right-handed. Got him sorted out though.

I remember a lady at the range doing this with a 308 hunting rifle. Her instructor didn’t say shit. Dog brain.
