Been looking at options for a while & finally settled on ordering a pre-owned Aventon Level 3 off of Upway; it’s apparently coming in TODAY and I’m super excited!
What are some things to check & keep in mind when setting up?

Did they happen to send you a referral code I can use?!

Maybe you could post an update later about your experience with Upway. They have some good deals. I’m curious as to whether everything arrived as described and overall customer service.

I bought a used Gazelle on Upway before the winter hit. It came well packed. The bike was exactly as advertised. It arrived after a couple days in transit at exactly the time that they told me. I had the bike assembled and ready to ride in 90 minutes +/-. Excellent equipment at a much more affordable price than a new one of the same model.

Thanks that’s good to hear. Anyone else have any experience with Upway?

I'll have one soon and circle back. Ordered a bike due to be delivered on Monday.

The bike arrived well-packed. They did the thing where they used spray foam to custom form the top and bottom cushions of the package.
It came with the bike partially disassembled (handlebars, front wheel, and pedals), the charger, and a little cloth baggy with a few Allen keys and a pedal wrench. Assembled, the bike works. It matched the condition listed.
The only outstanding thing is that when I tried to use the drive system's phone application (Shimano's E-tube app), I wasn't able to successfully sync with the bike as the passkey had been changed from the default. I contacted customer support. They're trying to run down the passkey if the previous owner can provide it. Otherwise, they'll get instructions on how I can reset it.
I took it to my local bike shop which sells other bikes from the same brand. They have no issue working on it. Going to swap out the handlebars soon for something with more rise and sweep.

I purchased a used Velotric Summit 1 with 3 miles on it for $500 dollars off the new price and received it just a week ago, I have put 106 miles on it so far and am absolutely loving it, the installation was quick and easy and I can see how if I knew more and was more experienced in putting bikes together it could have been done in about 15 minutes. The bike is basically brand new and the Large sized frame fits me like a glove at 6'2". I am still within the 14 day test ride period, but will likely keep the bike as it as been incredible. I went 41.5 miles in a single day and only drained the battery because my commute back home was getting dark, so I put it into Boost mode and unlocked the speed limit and zoomed most of the way home on throttle. The first half of the journey only took 6% battery in Eco mode on pedal assist 1, with mostly flat ground and mild incline/declines.
There have been the occasional $5k bikes more than 50% off here and there, but the stock I am seeing is more limited due to my height and being between many L or XL frames depending on brand.

Make sure all the screws nuts and bolts are tight, kick the tires, strap up with a helmet and any other gear you own and have at it. Enjoy!

And loctite them if they’re loose.

NICE! Welcome to the club. Do remember to check the brakes are properly aligned and responsive, and that the battery charges fully on the first cycle. Inspect the body a bit overall since it is pre-owned. I got mine(hiboy ex6) couple of months back as well.
