Effective immediately, all existing and future US passenger cars, SUVs and pickup trucks cannot exceed 1.8m (5 ft 11 in) in height. Any that are taller must be shortened to conform, or permanently removed from service. Diminutive penile overcompensation syndrome (DPOS) is an epidemic!

End DPOS now!
jeffmc81@reddit
It's ok to be short. Tahoes are fucking dope.
Dave_A480@reddit
Dumb.... Why do you care how tall someone else's car is?
ea_nasir_official_@reddit
Because it's fucking dangerous
Dave_A480@reddit
No, it's not.
These_Storm_6417@reddit
The height of the front bumper is because it makes it easier to run people over, but SUVs have similar risks https://www.nsc.org/safety-first/hidden-dangers-light-trucks-safety-must-come-first?srsltid=AfmBOorV08StilfjM3MPh_lpaVigPq9_VGlkMFuu7fcXqafoOekfR2PH

Pedestrians shouldn't be in the road. We start teaching this to kids as soon as they're able to walk.
A limit of 5'11 in height would ban every single stock pickup truck produced in the past 30+ years.
Not reasonable.
duskfinger67@reddit
Even if we ignore the plethora of reasons why pedestrians and trucks might cross paths, it also applies to cyclists and motorcyclists.
These_Storm_6417@reddit
Have you considered that cross walks exist? And in rural areas there are no cross walks. A height restriction is unreasonable since it’s not the problem. It’s the responsibility of the driver and the pedestrian to ensure that they are keeping themselves safe and not endangering others. Personally I think the root solution is better safety features and getting stricter about distracted driving
duskfinger67@reddit
Because bonnet height directly correlates with the likelihood of a fatality in a collision & increases the size of the front blind spot. Larger cars also take up more space on the road, cause more wear and tear on roads, and are more likely to block roads or pavements when parked.
Bigger cars are more dangerous. That is not an opinion; it is a fact. Unreasonably large, unsafe vehicles should not be allowed on the road.
chickey23@reddit
Because the world would be safer for everyone if there were no big cars.

Guy just has a small dick and can't afford a lifted truck...

Just trying to recycle an old, overused penis compensation joke that wasn’t funny the first time…
BigWhiteDog@reddit
Someone has never seen a van or a working 4wd pickup... 😜
Reejerey1@reddit
Tell me you hate trucks for some reason without telling me you hate trucks. Never mind my stock 1990 k1500 is taller than 5’11.
TSiQ1618@reddit
a lot of tiny dick energy coming from the comments right now
MANvINFO@reddit
all lambos need to be lifted to 4ft tall as well
aristot3l@reddit
Someone saw a bibg trok they can’t afford while riding their shitty 10 speed and had to vent to Reddit bc had no friends. Many such cases
c0sm1cr1ot@reddit
