How are people opening smoked Australian cheese packets?

Those ones that look like brown, plastic wrapped hotdog sausages.
I can cut them into slices, but even then I need to cut them lengthways too.
Love the cheese, but short of chewing it from the wrapper like a solidified Frube, I just run my knives and get sticky fingers.

Not sure how old you are but do you remember those weird ice pops/ice pole thins that if yo usnapped then really fast they would break cleanly in two.
It works with that cheese.

I slice one end off and slip it out of the packet, take what I need and wrap it in cling film too go back in the fridge.

Oh man! Bloody autocorrupt.
On the latest update it goes back and corrects earlier words to try and make the sentence as predictable as possible, and I have to proofread everything, and I missed that.
