without cigarettes, when post-2009s enter the workforce what will they use to sneak a break instead?

Read the article
'Vaping will be banned in cars carrying children, in playgrounds and outside schools and at hospitals, expanding smoke-free laws.'
silly______goose@reddit
Oh alright, then I guess those 2 year olds will just have to wait til they get home.
DingoBingoWimbo@reddit
U must feel so stupid. I'm glad something like that would never happen to me
silly______goose@reddit
Worst thing that's ever happened to me. I don't know where to go from here.
phatboi23@reddit
No they're not.
They're just getting taxed to fuck.

Right? Is this not what is already happening.

Cups of tea or something similar.
It took me ages to give up ciggies. I loved them, and still absolutely love the smell which I get is weird but I genuinely miss them.
Anyway, I realised I could give them up because what I really wanted was a break from everyone.
So I used decaf tea. Making the tea replaced rolling because I was quite into making the perfect ciggie for what I wanted at that time, then the tea itself takes about 5 minutes to drink.
So yeah, just nip off for a cup of tea, but I think the real answer is hiding in the toilet and doom scrolling.

As a non smoker I find this ban utterly ridiculous
No_Concept_3477@reddit
I'm curious why?
insomnimax_99@reddit
It’s largely not the government’s business what I put in my own body. The government isn’t my parent.
And if it really is such an issue that it needs banning, they should ban it for everyone, not just young people.
Doomergeneration@reddit
People should have the right to indulge in a harmful vice if they so wish. In stead of banning them I think an additional NHS tax should be applied to the purchase of them or the individual as a smoker somehow
Practical-Command634@reddit
They should have done this years ago. It means smokers can still smoke and people who theoretically haven't started yet because they are too young will never start. Their basically trying to ban smoking without actually banning smoking. Supposedly in 40 or 50 years threre will only be a few customers legally able to buy them. In reality the government will lose out in tax revenue and a massive black market will become even bigger

A wank

Vapes? Horrific IBS caused by a diet of ultra-processed foods and microplastics?
Otherwise I have it on good authority that heroin flavour Maltesers are going to be the big hit of 2032. They're just so moreish!
