Niche caliber that YouTube and forums of the past 20 years say "won't get through a heavy jacket". Its just not that popular to carry anymore. Great to shoot andncant recommend it enough though!!

Yup, though I do remember many years ago the .32 ACP Win silvertips as having the same one shot stop rating as .45 ACP ball in some published studies. Dubious, but at least based on some real world data at the time.

Yeah the whole argument of "X caliber" is better than the the other is just bologna to me, like yeah are there some situations where cartridges work better than others yes, but overall who wants to get shot by any of them. The idea is to shoot in order to stop the behavior thats causing you to shoot, we ain't out here to purposefully grease the homies.
But that's a conversation for another day.

Yep, had a Sig P232 that I hated to shoot. My .50 AE desert eagle was so more pleasant. The p232 is one of the few guns I have ever sold.

Is yours the stainless frame? Mine was aluminum and it just felt too snappy. I'm no stranger to recoil as I regularly shoot a .308 lone eagle, but my 232 was just too snappy.

Someone said Walther is using a 380 ACP slide on these which is causing malfunctions. I think it was one of the comments when the deal on this PP 32 was posted a while ago here on Reddit. Can't say whether it's true or not but I had a West German PPK in 380 and it wasn't very pleasant to shoot at all due to recoil so I sold her.
