Lead-acid to Lithium batteries

I'm a newbie at these e-bike stuff but then I bumped into the idea of replacing my 4 12V 12Ah lead-acid batteries to a 48V 20Ah lithium ones. will it just be fine?
Ps: I've read some about this over here and just wanna be sure (don't wanna waste money) TIA.

You’ve got lead acid on a bike?? Idea sounds logical. How are your current batteries managed? May need a new BMS too, though most lithium bike batteries have this build in
