Nvidia spark clones / at-home ai rigs

Can anyone list some of the Nvidia spark clones? I've got a budget of \~$3,500 and would like to get the best bang for my buck on learning training at home and doing at home local llm usage for my family & coding.
Ever time I look up, prices are getting higher, and I'm not experienced enough in the field yet to know what I need to get to be successful.
I'd need to run locally
- ) hefty llm plus tooling so I can code with a decent model and not participate in the great token wars of 2026
2.) several small models for dedicated tasks
3.) enough resources to let me create and train models (this is a desire to learn) and RAG documents

There's always an M5 mac...

I have a m5 max mbp 128gb. Its like 70% of a spark on average.

What do you mean 70% of a spark?
CATLLM@reddit
Approx 70% performance of a single dgx spark

One thing to note which is usually not mentioned, Spark is ARM-based, which limits what OS and software can run on it. Something to keep in mind.

They're all the same; do a Google search, it'll take 3 minutes. In my country, there are serious availability issues. I personally recommend the Asus Ascent GX10. If you can afford one, you'll be happy. It's an amazing device for learning and for more serious work. If you can afford two, you can start experimenting with really large topics (large context and large models simultaneously; I have two for my minimax m2.7; it's absolutely crazy what you can do locally with them).
