hi, i'm working on building my first gaming pc, hopefully will be done by the end of may. i did tons of research but i'm still quite unsure, i feel like my pc is maybe a bit overkill. please let me know what you think!
the link to my pieces with prices: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/rDv7Tm
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ATX AM5 Motherboard
RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
** Ideally not change those because they come in a bundle on CanadaComputers, for a total of 1098$!)**
SSD: SanDisk WD Blue SN5100 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
GPU: Asus DUAL Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card
**for the GPU, i'm wondering if maybe NDIVIA would be better...? i was considering MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 x 16 (use x8) Graphics Card RTX 5060 8G VENTUS 3X OC but the 8GB of VRAM is making me doubt...**
POWER SUPPLY: Corsair RM850e (2025) 850 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
CPU COOLER: Corsair NAUTILUS 240 RS ARGB 74.37 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
CASE: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower Case (3 fans included)
this pc comes to a total of approximately 2300$CAD. i feel like it's perhaps overkill considering i won't be playing really heavy games (i play mostly league of legends, valorant, minecraft, dead by daylight, marvel rivals, overwatch, fortnite...) so please let me know what you think!!! thank you so much for the help, it would be really appreciated.

Graphics card is ridiculously weak compared to the rest of the PC.
Here's a good benchmark at 1440P medium to put it in perspective: https://www.techspot.com/articles-info/3021/bench/Average-1440-p.webp
Unless you're aiming for like 200+ FPS @ 720P/1080P low, that 7800X3D is going to be severely bottlenecked by the GPU.
Typically I recommend allocating about 40% of the budget to the graphics card. A 9060XT is an excellent economy GPU, you can throw it in with a DDR4 economy build.

thank you for telling me! do you think i could find a better graphic card without spending like waaaaay more? i was initially hoping for around 1.5k so this pc is already making my pockets hurt haha

40% of $1.5K CAD = $600. You chose the perfect card.
40% of $2.5K CAD = $1,000, this is what your build costs.
$1,500 Canadian = under $1,100 USD
You can also step up to a 12600KF for about $60 overbudget.

Also on the case, have a look at the Antec C5 case. Its a fish tank case with dual chamber design and comes with 7 ARGB fans! The price is very nice when you take the fans into the consideration!

you’re absolutely right, she’s a beaut!! i’ll switch to that one

If your choice is between an 8GB 5060 and 9060XT 16GB. Definitely go the 9060XT other than that solid choice on the bundle

thank you for telling me!!
