Happy World Environment Day! What’s your current ebike mileage? 🌍

Let’s see those numbers! How much ground have you covered on your ebike to date?
Me: Just hit 600 miles and still counting. It’s saved me so many car trips!

1135 😸 barely any maintenance, but i'm bringing it in next week for squeaky brakes and a minor shifting problem (going from 5, 6, 7 and also the other way sometimes skips 6, or doesn't skip 6 but won't activate 7)

12,000 miles each on my Ariel Rider X-Class (52v) and my Lyric Graffiti.

Wow! How long is your commute?
Droidstation3@reddit
I don't commute, I work from home. That's just casual riding, point A to point B, group rides, etc, over the course of 4 years for the X-Class and 2 years for the Graffiti. I try to ride everyday, weather permitting.

160 miles. I take lots of short errand trips (about 1.5 miles, going up to 2.5 miles if I tack on getting fast food to the trip), so that's a lot of car trips saved.
I bought mine end of September last year, and then last ride before winter was late November. Started to get some false spring in mid-February so was able to ride occasionally again. Now we're finally entering real spring and riding is becoming much more consistent again.
Most of those miles are also without any assistance; the primary mode I use is customized to cut out at 10 MPH, so it only helps getting up to speed from a stop or in difficult conditions (bad headwinds, exhaustion, steep or extended hills).

Getting close to 4000 km

I forgot my previous mileage, but I got a new bike and I'm at 216 miles now. I go out riding every weekend and after work.

Nice start! Enjoy the ride!

7900 miles on the e-commuter. Would be more but I still ride my muscle bikes a lot of the time

Riding different bikes is just like rotating shoes. It might not result in as many miles, but it definitely reduces wear and tear and keeps things fresh.🤗

Had my commuter style ebike for two years and just hit 2750km/23330milea

Paths feel less of a hassle too when you’re not worrying about arriving tired or dealing with hills.

3600 km for me. My commuting e-bike. I only drive to work when it is raining.
RevolutionaryCar8623@reddit (OP)
Only when it rains? why
jolard@reddit
Because I don't like to arrive at work all wet. So when it isn't raining, I ride the e-bike. When it is raining I drive my car. :)
goedips@reddit
Just shy of 3000km in a year commuting for me. But I use the bike in all weathers. I am stood around outside getting rained on at work though, so that just means I've already got my rain gear on when I get there. :)
jolard@reddit
Perfect! Yeah I am in an office job in a place without a shower. So just don't bother on those days.
KostyaFedot@reddit
2k km since 2024.
ProIceMaker@reddit
Ebike, over 7500kms, electric scooter over 5000kms
mediumbike@reddit
7000 km and counting
weregeek@reddit
Over the last couple of years, I've ridden at least 3k miles between a couple of ebikes and a variety of bikes with no motors attached. It's just another way to get around.

My old ebike has over 3000 miles on it. I just 'donated' that ebike to a boy in need btw. The ebike I'm currently riding has a little over 2000 miles on it. My son's ebike has maybe 1500 miles on it. We ride whenever we can.
