I had a girlfriend who i took on a lovely date because it was our anniversary, and I let her take a nap while I was making dinner, took me hours to make and when it was ready it was perfect.
Flowers candles presents just about everything I could do.

Period makes women more vulnerable. It means more emotional intensity. Slight needs become immediate, a little guilt becomes a grave sin and mild irritation turns into downright vindication. Some have it stronger, some not, some just have a lot of physical pain, which also causes problems. Being oblivious to it is fine, but ffs if you live with a woman for a long time, you should have been able to pick up how to act when she has a period.
