Why are Balkan right-wing politics so uniquely low-IQ?

A very specific thing I noticed following nationalist content (primarily in Croatia), is that both it's promotors and those reading it tend to be, intellectually undeveloped at the very least.
The substance of the nationalism is simple, it is genocidal mania mixed with insane conspiracy theories, and 0 critical thought, yeah, those ideas cannot really be presented better, but that is not what I actually want to point out.
It is that narratives constructed are always extremely simple to refute lies, on the level of claiming the sky is the color of old Lada Niva. And the ideological followers also always deeply believe in this low-IQ shit. It gets even more insane when certain narratives (mostly related to Bajaga and Balašević) were refuted publicly hundreds of times, their instigators usually publicly admiting they made it up to avoid fines.

They learned advanced ragebaiting as a meta strategy in elections only recently. Before it was just trying to prove Obama wasn't born in the USA. That is low level ragebait most people never believed.

It is a bit deeper, you haven't followed the "deep lore" of this in Croatia. Basically, due to certain things occuring in history, there are a lot of veterans who are healthy, but simulate mental illness, and there are a lot of veterans who are mentally ill, but refuse to believe they are.
The second group are the ones who then connected with general population suffering from various form of delusional disorders, to form a coherent ideological group (well not really, but you know what I mean). This is the group that dominates certain right-wing spaces, like certain podcasts, certain websites and are related to three main figures on the fringe far-right:
Franciskovic, Marko - famous for creating "Christocentric economy" and calling for "Croatian Cambridge" in Korenica, reforming of Military Frontier and opening of concentration camps, has lately been in prison after adopting JIhadists beliefs and calling for Sharia Law, and threatening with terrorist attacks. They also found a small arsenal in his home. Was confined to psychiatry multiple times.
Marijačić, Ivan - more lucid, but known to firmly believe Pope is somehow spawn of Satan, that there is organised anti-Croat conspiracy in pointing out r*pe is commited by non-brown people to (I am paraphrasing, not word for word what he claims). Known to have published articles on this. Probably in it mostly for the money, but known to go off the beaten path in his writings.
Whoever leads AHSP (cannot remember the name) - related to famous "cropaedia", or "metapaedia" (cannot remember the name). Used to be THE wiki for right-wing delusions before wikipedia.hr became the staging ground of nazis. That is where the theory that is adopted by a lot of right-wingers, that psychiatric institutions are led by secret cabal of stalinists dedicated to destruction of Croatian patriotism comes from.

Post-hoc justifications of their mental states and projections of the same onto the politics and philosophy is… just what politics often are. Especially with certain aspects of the right, but also the anti-work left. A lot of these men are not happy people, they are people who internally wanna scream and cry about their issues, but they cannot, so they do it through the only ways they know - turning their issues into political opinions.
We are not facing political crisis, we are facing a massive capitalism-cause mental health crisis where nothing is normal anymore. World expects way too much and people just do not know what to do. Successful people tend to be centrist. Businessmen and managers go center-right, scientists and intellectuals or professionals go center-left, most commonly. Extremism happens when there is certain instability going on within people themselves.

It's not low iq. The problem is that liberals tend to interpret everything through an emotional lense, rather than a rational one. So if a conservative point doesn't make them feel good, they just dismiss it, in many cases, in a way that completely ignores all rules of debate, and often, causes them to fall victim to various logical fallacies. In fact, there is a major fallacy within the question posed in this specific thread; (hasty generalization) assuming we are all low iq (even though many of us, including myself would be more than willing to take a clinically administered iq test with any one of you), but if you are in a liberal hivemind, you are not just programmed, but socially obligated to not critically think, but to just agree with your brethren, or sistren, or them themthen, or zi-zur-zemren and continue your march, or protest, or whatever previously agreed upon devious behavior you were partaking in such as gluing yourself to an asphalt road to protect the planet, or remove an appendage because you have maxed out all prior levels of frontal lobe damage, or protest women's rights with your tits out in public, or whatever other antisocial autistic type behavior you are able to conjure up while ingesting the newest latest, greatest psychotropic frog farts available to you. In all my life I’ve never encountered a more emotional bunch than conservative people ordering me how to think and what I should be doing to make me happy, these same people then go about to systematically deny and destroy any and all hopes I have left to cling on to. When they realize nationalistic nonsense doesn’t work anymore they try to guilt trip you into oblivion to follow a party approved line, and when that doesn’t work the masks come off and its just me and you at the end of the day. I’ve heard so many excuses and so many “what ifs”, so many “my way or the highway” types to actual problems that are not even my own, but ones from women and ones from the larger output of society, that its ridiculous to look me in the eyes and say “take it or leave it” when you know that no one with a smidgen of brain is going to take it anymore.

Most parliamentary systems have multiple types of rightwing parties. In the netherlands we have the VVD, which is an economically liberal, socially uninterested right wing party. They arnt low IQ.
Then we have the PVV and Forum, which are both wacky low IQ right wing parties.

I personally disagree with right-liberal politics in every way imaginable, and I do find liberal politicians in my country annoying, partially because they preach free markets and fiscal responsibility, then get elected at local level and purchase a fckin Audi A8 with municipial funds because "anything less wouldn't hold the road right (in the mentioned town temperatures rarely get below 0, and snow is extremely rare)

The whole “left vs right” thing in the Balkans is mostly aesthetic. Parties wear ideologies like jerseys, switching them whenever it suits their interests. What actually drives politics isn’t some deep commitment to Marxism or liberal-capitalism.
That’s also why communism spread so widely in the region. It wasn’t because millions of people suddenly became well-versed in economic theory. It was tied to war, anti-fascist resistance, promises of land and social mobility, and the appeal of a system that claimed to level deeply unequal societies. For most people, it wasn’t about ideology, it was about what worked (or seemed to) in that moment.
Fast forward to today, and you see the same pattern. Parties will wave nationalist flags while running state- economies, or preach free markets while handing out jobs through party connections. Left and right exist more as branding or as a temporary trend.
