Anyone go to Baker to finish up their A&P? Any tips/tricks you would like to share? I have the syllabus already, already have my two 8610-2's signed, already booked the class and a hotel. I will have a car.
As an aside, I had a heck of time getting my 8610-2's signed. I could not get an interview and my phone calls to the FSDO were never returned. Last year at Sun 'n Fun I walked into the FAA building there and asked if I could get some help and they asked if I had my logbooks and rec letter with me and that they could do it right then. I didn't bring them and could not get them so I just waited till this year at SnF. I walked in with everything and had a short non confrontational interview and left with my 8610-2's in maybe 30 mins. So if you need the FAA, they have been really helpful at SnF. In fact, this is my second issue that the MCO FSDO has helped me (other was a rating issue that had a pwk problem). I know of others that had rating issues and even medical issues sorted out and left SnF with the issue resolved...10/10 would recommend the FAA at SnF.
