If you want the 308 but don't care for the crate, we have something for you too!
With the addition of any** quantity of Igman 308 to your cart, you can also add any Sig Sauer Tango Scope or LPVO to your cart and get 15% off. Yes, even if it's only 1 box of 20rds.
*Note* Sig Sauer Tango Deal not compatible with Crate Deal, it is one or the other.

Haven't accuracy tested it yet but I did buy 800rds from wildhorse about a month ago. Mostly to pump through my Yugo M77. Ill try and catch some groups through my Gen 2 American at some point
drumsarereallycool@reddit
Same for my m77. They are gtg.
BiggyIrons@reddit
I have. About 2ish MOA in a 1 in 12 twist SCAR barrel.
MorningIllustrious35@reddit
Is anyone running this suppressed? If so, is it good to go? Thanks.
schizoferret904@reddit
This any good in my CMP garand?
DigitalHooker@reddit
Anyone speak to the quality of this ammo? Heard it wasn't great accuracy wise
whitehaitian@reddit
I couldn’t get it to cycle my ar10. But it was the first rounds I put through it. May give it another go, still have a couple boxes of it
burritoresearch@reddit
This is your basic M80 ball 7.62 ammo, expect 3-4 moa. It's not for precision use. Something loaded for accuracy and higher tolerances with a match grade projectile will be double the cost in today's market.
EntireRent@reddit
It's 4-5 MOA in my Scar 17 lol. OAL cartridge length is also long enough to cause an occasional FTF due to having the tip of the bullet scraping the front of the magazine.
turtle_with_dentures@reddit
4-5 Really? I came to the comments because I've been shooting igman recently and I'm getting closer to 2moa out of my sig 716. Multiple other people are reporting 4+ though. Haven't had any FTF with it, but I have had 2 instances of failure to close where I needed to use the forward assist.
-FiX@reddit
Just throwing it out there.
I've shot about 500rds out of my Scar 17. Ordered a recent batch this month and Ive gotten 2MOA groupings out of it at 100yrds. Maybe that guy's scar is picky, but it's not bad at all. It's not match ammo, but it isn't dog shit.
EntireRent@reddit
It was the first 308 ammo I bought when I got the Scar 17 and I initially thought there was an issue with the rifle/scope/mount. Went through barrel disassembly and screw torque and checking the scope again. Turns out when I bought Fiocchi 147gr the groups were cut in half. Fiocchi's OAL cartridge length was also like 1/8th inch shorter than Igman's and completely stopped any FTF issues I had.
turtle_with_dentures@reddit
Well damn. Maybe I just got lucky with a higher quality batch.
Omniposter@reddit
I also shoot this out of my SCAR 17 and its been good cheaper stuff. Have not had the experience dude above has. That's super weird. At this point I've probably shot at least 2 or 3 thousand of them.
chuckisduck@reddit
3.5 moa on my scar 20, 4 on the fal, 5 on the cetme. Get under 3 on my precision ls308 build. Didn't bother trying to group on the Tavor, bolt, 17s or m14.
Perfect for steel and drills, but not for long range. I Iike sierra 168 for that, but really need to get back into reloading.
I bought like 7k of this at around 60 cents a year and a half ago I think. Shot a third and sold half of the remaining to free up space. Maybe 2 jams in the cetme and never a failure to fire.
DigitalHooker@reddit
Thanks. I just picked up a .308 bolt gun and based on the responses I'll pass.
chuckisduck@reddit
With a 308 bolt, you made the right choice. I wasted several parts of range trips trying to figure out why my groups were that poor.
River_perez@reddit
It’s very bad bought 1k rounds last year and was impressed with how bad it groups
Ready-Landscape6007@reddit
Not everyone cares about a slightly wider group. Will still hit the target just fine
party_egg@reddit
I bought 5k rounds of this stuff in x39 a few years back. The crate it comes in is cool, and it's neat that it's brass-cased, but other than that it's nothing to write home about.
FiestyCucumber@reddit
I’ve had no issues in the ~1500 rounds I’ve shot. Granted I’m not doing any precision stuff but it works fine for me. Quite dirty though, if that bothers you.
Sonic_Is_Real@reddit
3-4 moa. Goes bang every time
KL0WN3D@reddit
ive shot about 2K rounds of this stuff, no hard data to give but it was decent, if you’re into super long range ammo i wouldn’t expect insanely tight groupings, but the rounds themselves were fine.
Few-Entrepreneur-316@reddit
I dont even have a 308 yet but that crate is sexyyyy tempting
Recent-Honey5564@reddit
Brother keep this deal I’ll buy it + a tango tonight I’m stuck in the hospital at work and can’t get to the website on their WiFi lol
WildHorseAmmo@reddit (OP)
it should still be live when you get home, if anything isn't workin right for ya, let me know but you should be gtg
bootloops30@reddit
Nice job on the product pictures I like being able to zoom in on mobile.
RegardedDipshit@reddit
What if I don't care about the ammo but want the crate? Crate is sick
faubanks@reddit
Aim surplus had them awhile back. Cheap too. Like 14 after shipping. https://www.reddit.com/r/gundeals/s/MlaV5szVnk
Left_Connection_8137@reddit
“Awhile back” brother that post is from 2 years ago lol
WildHorseAmmo@reddit (OP)
i gotchu - just the crates
DrNinjaPandaManEsq@reddit
Yeah the crate goes hard
salem_lakes_armory@reddit
This guy is asking the real questions.
glyphosate_enjoyer@reddit
I'm happy I bought all my 308 & 7.62x52 when I did but I will never end up replacing it for even 2025 prices. Blows.
toxicity69@reddit
Dammit. I have a Seekins .308 SP-10 on backorder, and I've been on the lookout for a deal on some .308 FMJ, but other comments would suggest that this is not the play for ammo. Deals on .308 just don't seem to come by all that often, I guess.
Any recommendations for decent .308 I should keep on the lookout for? Something akin to PMC X-Tac for 5.56 (love that stuff).
turtle_with_dentures@reddit
What do you consider "respectable" traits for 308? Igman goes bang, and I'm getting 1.5-2moa@100. Are you looking for cheap prices on bulk match grade? Not sure I've ever seen anything like that.
toxicity69@reddit
No, not looking for match grade for my trash shooting ammo. I just saw other comments that said it was more like 3-4 MOA (or more), and that is quite the spread. Not that it would really matter, but eh, I guess I just don't want bottom of the barrel ammo.
I'm looking for something that is good bang-for-your-buck for just commodity FMJ.
RustyAnnihilation@reddit
I’d buy it as much for the crate as the ammo
gucciflocka33@reddit
.85 cpr after tax to VA
Sraw-enjoyer@reddit
RIP 308 prices
