Why is British Airways Speedbird academy communication so horrendous?

I check my login page, and there are no tests to do, I check my email, none there either. But apparently I got rejected because I didn’t do the tests required?
I did my online assessment and I have none left in my to-do. I haven’t received any other online tests. People are talking about a maths test which I have not received.
I’ve filled out the form but is it this bad for anyone else? How do they get something so basic and crucial as sending a test wrong?
Keep in mind before anyone says I got rejected because I failed my last test, I didn’t, I got rejected for not doing a test I DIDNt receive
Anyone know a solution? I’ve already sent the form outlining my problem.

In the description of the checking test:
"This is the final online test in the first stage of the assessment process for the Speedbird Pilot Academy. After you complete it, you may not hear from us for a while."
Take that how you like:)

That’s old wording from last year, mistakenly not removed

I got an email today to remind me I need to complete a video interview asap but I haven't been invited to one? I've only just done the details checking one today and haven't been invited to anything new so I'm confused

I just feel like it’s some glitch, like it’s not supposed to be like this.

Honestly you are completely justified to feel this way.
The comments are negative because this is just something obvious to most people who have applied to jobs before, it's unfortunately the "norm" nowadays that people are just ghosted.
I remember years ago when I got my first job and so many job postings couldn't even bother with an email back, I felt the same way. The whole process is automated, how hard can it be to write 2 lines of code to tell someone they did not move to the next stage?
Every company in the world will treat you the same way BA speedbird does.

Thanks
CessnaBandit@reddit
You’re one of tens of thousands
conqstr2@reddit (OP)
So I’ve been rejected by BA and they didnt bother informing me that was a possibility after the first assessment?
CessnaBandit@reddit
It’s like not winning the lottery and complaining they didn’t tell you
conqstr2@reddit (OP)
Are you saying there is absolutely 0 influence from the initial test that I do on whether I get accepted for the next few? Cause that’s what you’re implying
CessnaBandit@reddit
I didn’t imply that at all. There is influence as in thousands will get all the correct answers but moving everyone to the next stage is just unrealistic.
BeautifulChain1587@reddit
I think a better way of putting it is that there is a lot of influence but also quite a bit of luck involved, its a manual process so sometimes some people might get mistakenly rejected.
Various-Blood-3902@reddit
Yeah pretty much
conqstr2@reddit (OP)
Well, no worries. I’ll still see if they respond. Thank you though.
