I just stated that it's happening in rest of nearby countries too, that's about it. Reasons behind why is it happening are multiple but "not having kids" is far, far from the main one and even if it was, you have to find the root cause (why are people not having "enough kids") instead of pretending like importing foreign workers on all fronts (that usually work for bare minimum) is going to fix the problem you are mentioning.

As others have said, this will solve the economic issue right now, but fastforward 5-10-15 years in the future, when the war (ideally) is over. You will have all the soldiers from the war, some perfectly functional, others wounded, others with PTSD, going back to non-war lives, looking around for jobs. Perhaps they'll find some, perhaps not. But they'll look around and see a country they don't remember, and they will feel entitled to live in the country they want, given how much they've sacrificed. Everyone always gets up in arms over this, but it's the natural progression of capitalism. First you're poor and your people migrate elswere, send money back and help the local economy. Eventually you become a mid/high level economy and other poorer groups now start coming to your country for the same. Your conflating different issues. So I'll summarise my points to try and make things clearer.

I am based in the Western Balkans and have visited both Albania and Kosovo. I know they are safe and I have no issue with these countries whatsoever. I have friends and colleagues from Albania and do not hold any grudge or bad perceptions of the country or it's people.
You referred to Europe being a dumping ground, that the 500k regularised immigrants in Spain will not be a net positive. Implying that all these bad people are going to Europe and not integrating. I'm pointing out that if you asked people in Europe, they would have the same impression of Albanians (i.e. negative), whilst you seem to be of the belief that Albanians integrate peacefully and happily wherever they go. It's a double standard where you ignore the problems of Albanian immigration and integration and paint it in a positive light, but assume the worst of all other immigrants. Almost all immigration is complex, nuanced and has both positive and negative aspects.
On the point of integration, that all Albanian first generation children born somewhere will integrate. Yeah, no shit, that goes the same for pretty much every group of immigrants regardless of where they come from.

You should look at crime data in Albania. Albania has minimal violent crime or sexual offenses. You can go out wherever you want, whenever you want, and nobody will touch you. Matter of fact, in Albania they would do something you would never see in the West.... If someone attacks you, people will jump in to stop it. In Western Europe, people run away.

Again, I go to Europe very often, England just last year. Albania is much safer pretty much anywhere you go.

So maybe it's not an Albanian problem, it's a UK problem. Maybe if they arrest people for serious crimes, leave them in prison and don't let them out a month later. And stop wasting resources arresting people who are posting mean tweets. 🤣

It is rly not black and white. I am from croatia in germany. Both in slovakia and germany i am facing issues while integrating and in germany i am mostly with balkan (including albanian) and italian communities when it comes to "integration" aka "moving to different culture when already damn ass adult" and interact in everyday mosly with them, then middle easterns and africans. Least germans. Nothing more then my studies. Cultural undertone is just fundamentaly different and fact that i can go to some middle eastern place to get turkish coffee and shisha, relax and socially interact with hospital ppl is oposite of what i am experiencing with germans.

I also integrate in greece overnight, even italy as i am partially meditenerian and many croats have italian ancestry even speak italian. Manerisms, way of behavior, talk and walk are just similar across those. I have more in common with african woman personality wise then any german woman and i feel more confortable in those communities.

Eastern europe and other balkanic and meditenerian countries i don't even need integration as we r already culturaly similar and pressure is much lesser. Western and northern europe tho trully r different ppl very different culture and mind.

Also all these ppl gravitate towards me especially balkan ppl and italians as they recognise me as "one of their own" in this forrest and start interactions as such.

Sadly most western countries make integrations for foreigners very hard and very rarely ppl integrate fully, coming from which ever different culture.

Already in slovakia u would have difficulties integrati g (this is where i encountered real cultural racism and consequences of it), and not to mention western or northern eu bc ppl r just fundamentaly different and so is their culture. We all feel it and see it it is just that it is for us easier to adapt. However many of ppl from our regions end up hanging out with other foreigners or other ppl from the area and prefer interactions with such so it is easier for them and they don't feel alienation. When u feel cultural difference plus alienation result is different and ppl struggle to even adapt to everyday living and integration seems impossible. Support in those processes is very much needed. In culturaly similar countries support is already there as u share much with those ppl already even tho u r different. I adapt to french everyday living in a second compared to germany as they live and operate daily diffently and i don't need support from my coummunities there or in spain or even portugal or italy. I can go thru even struggles by myself bc there is feeling of belonging in some parts at least. In some other countries tho i feel like legit alien and start disociating and if i would not have support system from "my own" idk how i would make it as far.

American immigration policies under Democrats are ridiculously permissive compared to rest of the world, including Europe, and especially Balkans. I mean look at the comments here. I think most people here are idiots and that there's nothing wrong with what Ukraine is doing here given the alternatives and even for me American border/migration policies under Democrats are way excessive.

Regarding your points: Obama counted as deportations simply turning away people at the border and hence his numbers shot up. Trump's numbers come overwhelmingly from catching and deporting people from inside the country, which is a lot tougher and messier, while your border is calm as very few even try to cross because they know risk of deportation is much higher.

Biden's policies would cause an absolute riot in any European country. Millions crossing the borde, either illegally or very leniently and easily with CBP One App. Sanctuary cities (no country in the world has such an insanely progressive, illegal-migration friendly institution). Charged debates about whether it is moral to deport illegal migrants (very rare in other countries). Biden had to self-correct on TV because saying "illegal alien" was judged as too "inhumane" and had to switch to "undocumented person". I've never witnessed this kind of language policing about illegal immigrants anywhere else.

You can fact-check any of these points you like, i probably know less about American politics than you, i'm just looking at it as an outsider. But i have to break it to you, apparently, that vast majority of the world is less migration-friendly than America. Especially Balkans. And i say this as a relatively progressive person who supports regularised and economically beneficial migration. Most people from the Balkans are against any migration, even legal. Especially if Muslim. And rest of Europe is growing increasingly hostile too. So yeah, i believe America is, regardless of Trump, one of least racist and most migration friendly countries in the world. In that regard you won't find many better than your "shithole country".

But the biggest difference between Europe and America is that America has thousands of miles of Ocean between that side of the world and this side. America gets more Latin Americans. Latin Americans generally integrate pretty well into society by the second and third generation. Also, cultures are more compatible.

In Europe they are opening borders to the middle East...the two cultures are completely incompatible. In one culture women go to to the beach topless, and in the other women can't walk the streets without covering their hair.

America has had their borders open much longer than Europe has, but I think the disparity between cultures is not big....I've lived in the US for 25+ years and I visit Europe 3-4 times a year.

Many won't come back, I can tell you some reasons... Firstly, many families left the country because the parents were afraid to be drafted in the war. Second, they sustain Ukraine and many times go home there on holidays at their relatives, but they know that once the war will be over the country will be very torn, so mostly will just go aboard anyways. There isn't a lot of hope in the future up there. Third, a lot of corruption and also many will choose for their children to rather learn and settle in mostly any other country, their schools are really bad in comparison with EU ones, as an example.

The replacement thing was never a theory. It has been so fascinating to be old enough to see it all play out.

The goal of immigration since the late 90s was always to REPLACE the aging barren working population with foreigners. That was openly debated and seeing as a very viable solution to the democraphic slump.

This idea that the goal was cultural enrichment and not demographic shift was concucted when Replacement became a political toxic term.

My cousins live in Michigan. We all work construction and before covid here in toronto we made more money then the albanians in Michigan. During covid Michigan had a workers shortage and all their wages went up. Yea we are lucky with the ucraineans to be such a pain in the ass for russians.

We have been tricked into forgetting what countries are and why they exist even though we spent most of history fighting for stability and safety for our tribes.

I see many ingnorant and ilogical comments, reality is that most working capable , young, and even highly competent ppl moved out from those countries (ex yu, bulgaria, romania, albania...) and migrated to western and northern europe, canada, etc.

So countries actually don't have whom to hire and as they want to hire ppl for minimum wage but they do not wanna incrise minimum wages ofc domestic ppl either refuse or move for the same job to economically stronger country.

If min.wage per hr is 4.5-7€ but in w.and n.eu is 11-13€ plus u get a company worker housing for example for construction job, what would u choose? Tbh our hospitality is also becoming very hard to make money as u still make more in innsbruck in a season as a weiter then in some coast cities. Dubrovnik used to be solid tourist wage wise but guys, though out all the country all the best weiters, barmens, etc went for and stayed in austria, swiss, and similar countries due to money and conditions. Most of our countries kept denying scince oportunities, kept gaslighting ppl with fresh dimplomas and denied them normal livable.wage so ppl left! Some of most talented young experts left.

Same happens in sports with coaches for the longest.

So, same as i am a foreigner in a foreign land and expect ppl to treat me well i wish foreigners coming to my homeland same respectful treatment. And if that country can make someone humble and hardworking happy and stable i am happy for them. As tp me it brpught only tears, suffering and humiliations and ultimately casted me out like many others. We doid indeed leave defeated and heartbroken but we had no other choice. I wish those countries to prosper and grow thru ppl who see joy and opportunities, better life there... that is better then whole streets and neighbourhoods becoming ghostowns as ppl migrated and they keep going away.
