Whats the difference between small and big gpus?

Im thinking of buying the rt 9060 xt 16gb, i dont know much about hardware. So i was looking at the different GPUs and noticed, that there are many different options. What im asking is, what is the different between the GPU with 2 fans and the ones with 3 fans. Is it just the size or is it also a performance thing. The other question is, how do i know if the bigger one will fit? The measurements in the descriptions say that it would fit but im really not sure

One has an extra fan. That's the entirety of the difference really. Performance is the same. For a RX9060XT16gb when run at a +10% power profile the temperatures are about the same with either two or three fans for the most part. The Powercolor Reaper two fan is an exception because of how small it is, but it also maintains decent thermals anyway. Just a bit warmer.

In the specifications of your case it'll say if it fits or not. The fan thing is just for cooling, 3 fans cool more than 2 but if you have good airflow in your case it won't matter TOO much. Of course 3 fans cool better but I don't think it would be a major difference. If the price difference isn't big and it fits go for 3 fans, if not go for 2

It's not even guaranteed for a 3-fan to be better, while again won't matter for a low-power card, but with the power-guzzlers there are some nasty examples. 5080, check asus tuf vs pny slim, the slim is almost half the width, literally half the volume, but cools a bit better when noise-normalized. Quality fans and good design beat size every time.

On the 9060XT is definitely won't matter in rl performance. So it's as you said, just go for which design you like & fits your case, or just for the cheapest available
