I was enjoying the beach at Kye Bay in the Town of Comox, BC, Canada, when I spotted this Navy Poseiden P-8A doing touch-and-goes at the 19 Wing Military Base. He did quite a few, ten if I remember correctly.

The second picture is taken from quite a distance. The lack of clarity is likely because of the heat convection from the sand, as the picture is taken across the beach and it was pretty warm that day.

No, they were taken with a Nikon D5100 camera. Picture seems fine to me.
