I remember first appearance of this car in polish tv car show called "4x4" when the guy said something like "this compact sport sedan goes from 0 to 100kmh like Dodge Viper, and that says a lot". As a 9 year old who absolutely adored the Viper I was blown away by that statement. I instantly became a diehard fan of BMW after that episode, although I was raised as an Italian automotive fan by my dad prior to that moment.
