My dual boot dilemma

I have two NVMe drives: 1TB currently in my laptop 512GB currently in my PC I want more storage on my PC, and I do not really need that much on my laptop, so I’m thinking of swapping the 512GB into the laptop. Plan would be dual boot: Linux as main. Windows only for software I cannot avoid, mainly LockDown Browser / Safe Exam Browser stuff I can’t rely on a VM for that, and Bottles is not a real solution either. So the question is: Would a 512GB drive be enough for a comfortable dual boot setup if I gave Windows something like 128GB and left the rest for Linux? I don’t keep much stuff locally on the laptop, so this is mostly about whether that split is actually practical long term.

To be honest, I really suggest that you just buy another ssd (low capacity one) than having both linux and windows on the same ssd. It will save a lot of headaches in the future....

If that's the case then windows can just do fine with 128gb though i'll warn you that windows tend to nuke grub when it updates as well as you might encounter problems with bitlocker, so be sure to always have a live usb always at hand....
