Good morning everyone, I'm from Italy and I’m writing to ask for advice on buying a new computer.

I currently have a Lenovo laptop I bought 6 years ago, which I've always used mainly for study, work, and even occasionally playing light games like Minecraft, R6, Fortnite, Rocket League, etc. (at 50/60 fps, significantly lowering the resolution).

I'm now considering buying a new, more powerful PC (preferably Windows), which will allow me to work smoothly (I deal with buying and selling, so market research, Excel files, chats, etc., basically, nothing too stressful for the PC) and which will also allow me to play games like those mentioned above with good performance. My budget is around €1,000. I'm not sure whether to choose a desktop or a portable computer; I have no preference because I never need to carry it around, I’m interested in the most affordable option.

I can also evaluate used ones, but I'm not writing to ask if anyone has a PC for sale, just for advice because I don't know much about it and I'd like to spend my money in the best possible way. Thank you in advance.
