Post winter cleanup and check

Weather's getting nicer, so I pulled my mars 3.0 back out. I did a lot riding on gravel roads and little trails before so it's got a fair bit of dust and grime around the back wheel and drivetrain.
I'm planning to ride it more because recently the gas price is really insane. After sitting through the winter, I'm starting to think it probably deserves a more proper clean and check than I usually give it. I'm wondering where people's threshold on this. Curious what most of you would usually do at this stage in terms of cleaning and basic maintenance.

I‘d probably just do a basic clean. Wipe it down, check the brakes and tire pressure, and lube the chain, especially after it sat through winter.
How's the ride been on the fat tires? Don't see many of those around me, but I've always thought they looked pretty cool.

i love my fat tire bike. the paved bike path i use has a lot of unpaved dirt/sand/gravel (i live on the cusp of the desert in socal) trails that stem off from it, and the fat tires make exploring those super easy and smooth
i personally haven't felt any down-side to my fat tires yet, and I have ~1100 miles on the bike so far. i never go on rides longer than like, 30 miles round trip

I wax my road and gravel chains, so it was obvious to do the same with my ebike. I love a quiet and clean chain

haven't "cleaned" my bike in 6 years, only maintenance i do is lube chain, bleed brakes and replace pads. sometimes might knock chucks of muds that's stuck to downtube, but than again, it adds to character.

Yeah if it's been sitting that long, I'd probably give it a pretty full check

My usual is: Clean drivetrain and relube chain, check brake pad life, check and clean suspension stanchions, inspect and air up tires as needed, check brake rotor life. That's usually all I need to do when riding season approaches.
