New PC Builder Question

Hi all this is a bit of a long one so let's start with my kit.
Gigabyte AORUS B850 ELITE motherboard
Cpu Ryzen 7 9800x3d
Gpu Asus prime oc rtx 5070
Case Fractal North xl Atx Black tempered
AIO Arctic Liquid freezer 3 Pro
2 x 2tb Samsung 990 EVO M.2 NVME
32gb DDR5 fury beast RGB Ram
Right so I don't get the ram until Saturday however I have assembled the rest of the pc as a new builder without any issues I'm quite proud, the pc spins up completely fine and the motherboard shows the red POST light because no RAM... I'm not sure why thought but the fans A-RGB doesn't turn on with the pc. Is it meant to be automatic or does it need to be turned on and I may have not plugged in the RGB wire properly perhaps. And advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is the same problem as mine, however, on my lianli fans, rgb is unable to show up on startup until after POST. However, this may be an issue specific to mine. Have you checked to ensure your VDG (3 pin rgb connector) has been plugged in properly? In addition, note that the lianli fans not lighting up has been an issue specific to my am5 build. cheers.

Hey thanks for the reply. I plugged the 3 pin cable into a slot titled ARGB_V2_1 and I have like 3 more of the same type of connector. That may be the case for the POST and if so I'll be very happy so thank you this has reassured me a little at least.

This would be the right slot, do update if it is the case for POST, as I have lazily not gone to research if I am suffering an isolated case!
