Need advice on if this is a good build for a first pc (all white, budget)

I finally settled on parts and put together a list on PCPartPicker- I am wondering if these work together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I start purchasing any of these parts- is this a good set up? Could anything be changed? Is an AIO worth it/necessary? I am a university student and this is my first build, so any money saved would be best, but if I am spending on building a PC I want it to be decent quality/last. Basically just want to make sure I am getting my moneys worth, even if its a budget build. For context I am in Canada, my budget is around 1500-1700, and I plan to use this build for gaming, schoolwork, and research. Some games I play are valorant, sims, "cozy" games, baldurs gate, WuWa, Genshin, Minecraft, etc.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor $239.98

CPU Cooler: Plan to use stock that comes with the CPU. Is it necessary to buy an after-market cooler?

Motherboard: Asus B650E MAX GAMING WIFI W ATX AM5 Motherboard ($239.99)

RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-6000 CL38 Memory $267.04

Storage: TEAMGROUP MP33 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive $199.99

GPU: Asus DUAL Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card $602.80 (is 16GB for GPU necessary? Could I get away with cutting costs by getting an 8GB? )

Case: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower Case $79.99

Power Supply : MSI MAG A550BN 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $69.98

This brings the total to $1699.77

Let me know, any advice would be a huge help.
