GPU problems

Im running a brand new 5050 with all my other parts relatively new, if my GPU keeps black screening is that a power supply issue. my power supply is an older model. could I please get some advice

It could be the old power cable, because although it is powering the GPU, it might not be enough power.
What’s your other parts like motherboard?
