Just how loud is the wired warrior’s motor?

I’m thinking of buying the wired warrior. I don’t really care about the noise of the motor, but I still can’t help but wonder since it’s one of the main things to talk about when discussing the warrior vs the magician alpha.
Is it like, unbearably loud to the point I can’t hear my own voice?

I was considering both a couple weeks ago and landed on the magician alpha. It has more than enough torque for me and I absolutely love it. The wired CEO is kinda a douche too

Nice choice!! And what did he do?

There's a small YouTuber (500ish subscribers) that bought one and had almost entirely positive opinions on his wired bike except for an issue where it was cutting power while going up hills. The CEO basically just made fun of him for his low subscriber count and refused to do anything to fix the bike.
He made a second video where he still said lots of positive things about the bike, but demonstrated the issue with overheating on hills. Then he did the hill many times in a row on a much cheaper bike with no problem.
Here's the video if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/sO5yvQnOSpA?si=84NaNd2Ykc9Ktkbx

Oh geez… I just watched it. What a shitty response from the company. I hope they make it right with him.
I still think I’m going to go with the warrior because my area is dominated by mostly inclines. I hope the warrior won’t have any problems with overheating like the freedom does.
I do like how the magician might be quieter, and how the speed builds up smoothly instead of giving you all that power right away, but for the area I live in I unfortunately don’t think it’s going to be the best for me optimally.

Yeah pretty uncool of them. Hope you get a good one!
For what it's worth, I was concerned the alpha wouldn't have sufficient torque/acceleration for my liking, but it actually has too much and I tuned it down to like 20% current limit and it still accelerates quick as hell. Also, did like 4 miles straight up pretty steep hills this weekend and it has plenty of acceleration even on steep inclines. I think they have tuned it better since YouTube reviews.
That said, I would definitely buy a wired bike as well if I had the money for both! I see mostly good reviews about them.

Oohhh, that’s very interesting and good to know! I’ll keep looking into both of them before making my final decision. Thank you!

I'd prefer that bike over the wired. Bafang motor and electronics will probably be more reliable and easier to get parts for in the future.

I would recommend a known brand that is street legal but do what you will.
Leeeeeviiiiiiii@reddit (OP)
It can be street legal (when not unlocked of course)
I think wired has been around for a pretty good time and has some good reviews from what I’m aware of

Over on Facebook is a group for Wired E-bikes,, you might be able to get a better answer

Thank you!

That really depends on how one wants to interpret the wattage of the motor as the federal regs most states are using specify a 750 (or less) watt motor.
If you take a 2000 watt motor and limit it to 750 watts is it now a 750 watt motor?
If you drive a vehicle with a V6 and it has an eco mode that only uses four of the six cylinders is it legally a 4-banger when you have eco mode on? Answer - It's still legally a V6.

The cops in PA aren’t that strict and don’t really come around here often except for if they have to hit a quota every couple months
CaverZ@reddit
The real question is which state you live in and how much their cops care. Ride sensibly with a helmet and front and rear lights day and night and don't draw attention. Plenty of young hooligans speeding and riding recklessly which is what cops are looking for. They are really busy with more serious issues than someone's motor wattage anyway.

I don’t want to sound like a pick-me lol, but I feel sort of an outlier compared to other people my age. I try to be as safe as I can, and if I were ever to go fast it would be on trails and places where no cars or people would be.

Hit YouTube. Plenty videos of both on there.

True
Leeeeeviiiiiiii@reddit (OP)
I did, but it’s pretty hard to tell how loud it might actually be when I’m unable to hear the motor in person vs on video
