Donated by Russia during Duterte's time and during the Marawi Siege
Though these were mostly relegated to "Support Infantry" all because of the ammo(Philippines is part of NATO)
Though I kinda wished they swapped the stock to a side or underfolder Stock since are only relegated to non front line infantry cause a full length rifle might hinder them
Panzerkampfpony@reddit
They basically used the crisis to to get an in for arms sales to the Philippines by sending them guns that use ammunition the Filipinos don't make themselves is what I took from that.
RamTank@reddit
Philippines is not part of NATO, no. Rather it's a NATO ally.

What’s with the weird bulged ribs in the pistol grips in image 1?
blacksheep_kho@reddit
Pretty sure the last pic is AI
Noodle_Long_And_Soft@reddit
It does look like it, but it turns out the KNDS DSB bridgelaying truck happens to just look like AI by sheer manner of being a mechanical clusterfuck.
blacksheep_kho@reddit
The truck looks fine, it’s the men that look kinda off. But if it’s real then I’ll take your word for it.
WeTheSummerKid@reddit
They looked like OPFOR guys.
