I've honestly found that Gemma 4 follows system prompts so well that I haven't actually needed to use an uncenrcored model, even when doing roleplay or any other activity that would often trigger censorship in other models. It's honestly been way less censored than Gemma 3 in my erpxiernce.

However if you do truly need a special version then I would recommend either going with a simple heretic tune like this one, or if RP is your desired use is RP then I've heard good things about TheDrummer's Artemis-31B finetune.

Yeah, it's weird. Its adherence to the first bunch of tokens it runs into leads to really weird behaviour in AI Edge Gallery (google's first party "preview" inference tool thingo) because it looks like they didn't actually bother to include a system message (which is also why the E4B thinks its running in some google DC somewhere.)

Great for following a system message. Terrible behaviour WRT the first user message if you don't bother including one.

Seriously. I've gotten base gemma4 to be as extreme as I'd ever want it to be.

I'm surprised at how lax the guardrails are for this.
