Cpu paring with 9070xt

I am planning to build a new pc. i was looking at the 9070xt as gpu but for the cpu i was unsure with 3 options the 7800x3d, ultra 7 270k plus or spend an extra 100 to get the 9800x3d looking for advice on this choice

All viable options, but I also recommend the 9700X - it's a very capable CPU as well!

7800x3d for everything that isn't an esport title, 9800x3d if you're playing CS2 every day.

I wouldn’t sleep on the 270 if you’re doing anything besides gaming. The 7800 will be more than enough.
All 3 are great choices I’d pick the cheapest and lead towards the intel if doing productive work along with gaming.

I built a new PC last week and took the 9070xt from my previous AM4 build and paired it with the 9800x3d, its almost certainly "overkill" for the 9070xt but it was within my budget and made me feel quite a bit more future proof.

If you're playing at 1440p+ just get the 7800x3d, all have really similar performance when it comes to higher resolutions.
