It's not that we don't want a ceasefire it's that we had peace till Trump destroyed it. It's that he keeps making a fool of himself and your nation by threatening big action he was never going to take. His idea of regime change is to kill the leader and most of the family and call the last remaining son with a dead family a win.
King_Kea@reddit
Iran has already rejected trumps declaration of an extension
terrierhead@reddit
Do we get a new Lego video?
fenexj@reddit
Indeed we did.

US of I is now stuck in my head, god damn meme war
Girafferage@reddit
I'll be real... Some of those were actually really good. The US is losing the meme war on this one.
Styl3Music@reddit
That loser song with the visual of Lego Trump in bed with the child pops in my head everytime Epstein or the Iran war are mentioned.
Girafferage@reddit
"make america great again, nah, MIGA! we will wait and see what happens, well then watch this n****"
absolute fire.
I hate that a pretty horrible regime put out a banger.

The L O S E R chorus jumps to the front of my brain at least once a day. If you like that style, it reminds me a lot of the Palestinian-British rapper Lowkey.

They are welcome to make a move. Pretty sure their kids will regret them doing so, because they won’t be around to do much anything.
Eeny009@reddit
Keep your fantasies in the bedroom please.
TheIrishWanderer@reddit
But what does that even mean? Iran hasn't carried out any notable combat operations since the ceasefire came into effect. I'll believe they've "rejected" it when they start launching missiles again.
TWIT_TWAT@reddit
You have to, like, actually cease firing for there to be a ceasefire.
falltotheabyss@reddit
Maybe the real ceasefire was the ceases we fired alone the way.
New_Stats@reddit
I'm pretty sure the real grease fire was all the oil the klepo stole and then funneled the money into a Qatari bank account
intense_about_it_all@reddit
Some of it went to witkoff to short stuff.
Significant_Donut967@reddit
I thought it was the fires we ceased along the way. Man, I went down the wrong road.
forbiddenfreedom@reddit
Shit ... There's roads?
intense_about_it_all@reddit
Not if we bomb them first!!!!!!
ForsakenRow6751@reddit
"WE NEED MORE CEASES!"
"FIRE!!!"
WinterWontStopComing@reddit
You’re fired
PimoCrypto777@reddit
It was a concept of a ceasefire
ForsakenRow6751@reddit
a concept for a plan of a ceasefire, but don't worry, it will be better than Obama's and Bidens PUT TOGETHER!
biobennett@reddit
Nah, just need to announce it to pump the market... Reality sadly doesn't matter when it's part of the pump and dump scheme
highmickey@reddit
Because both the US and Israel is about to run out of interceptor missiles. They need time to restock and that's why Trump has been threatening to blow up entire Iran if they don't sign a deal.
Ching-Dai@reddit
Those restocks will take 2+ years. And assumes no other escalations occur in the interim (side eyes the Taiwan situation).
There’s no 5d chess being played here.
CosmosMom87@reddit
How did we only have enough interceptors to get us through that tiny little combat sprint? Seems inadequate if we engage in a full scale war operation.
notabee@reddit
The defense industry is just like every other part of the economy: hollowed out and financialized. The government just throws more money at it. The bloat is insatiable.
Ching-Dai@reddit
I can’t speak to specifics at all, but I assume some portion of stockpiles are what we’ve been selling to Israel and Ukraine (including both those countries in the same sentence feels wrong).
Regardless, an intelligent military force would be smarter about their use of resources, whether it be munitions or soldiers or their food supplies. If only one was involved.
Styl3Music@reddit
Because normally the interceptors aren't used and if it ain't being used then the US military doesn't resupply. Our military isn't the best at learning lessons from observing others at war and often need to learn 1st hand.

Hmm okay let's see how long this last.. also anyone have any idea how long it would take gas prices to drop if oil shipment resume as normal?

Market close in Friday seems to be the best literal bet.
CuriousWoollyMammoth@reddit
With Trump it's always lies.
NameEtc@reddit
It’s probably a secret pact over there - play with Donald till Iran can build a nuke🤣 then Iran can do what all those guys have dreamt of since we gave Israel a Nation to run a genocide scheme —
Styl3Music@reddit
Iran has been 3 weeks away from a nuke since before I was born.
03263@reddit
Look North Korea got nukes and now we don't bully them. Pakistan too - if they didn't we'd almost certainly have got involved in some war there. It's a strong move.
Ill_Ground_1572@reddit
Who?
greendoh@reddit
The straight is closed, and the best Trump can do is close the straight more.
He seriously fears the market dump that happened in v1.0 of this little war. The stock market is keeping the ceasefire going, but economics will eventually catch up to the markets with the straight closed and force action.
Iran has nothing, therefore they have nothing to lose.
SpiritTalker@reddit
Close it harder, orange daddy

Tighter unh
nasnedigonyat@reddit
Big_Fortune_4574@reddit
That’s good I guess, no reason for more people to get killed and shit get blown up. But oil still isn’t flowing out of Hormuz so it’s really not great.
Monster_Voice@reddit
Don't forget the helium... the ever so important helium.
(Need helium for both MRI machines and manufacturing computer chips)
Ill_Ground_1572@reddit
And diesel, LNG, sulfuric acid and urea.
All critical for various reasons though not all geographically relevant.

Why don’t we just fire up OUR NEW VENEZUELA OIL FIELDS
djscuba1012@reddit
fragrant-final-973@reddit
So the ceasefire is definitely over.
GreatBigJerk@reddit
This is just more of him fucking with the markets to grift. The ceasefire will be called off, more threats will be made, another ceasefire will be made, and so on.
Retro_Reloaded@reddit
So they win?
bipolarbear326@reddit
Correct-Avocado5426@reddit
And now I'll never be able to eat chicken again
TernarySquare0123@reddit
So, until after market close on Friday? Then a surprise attack?
DirectionOverall9709@reddit
Is it really a surprise attack at this point?
Ok-Zookeepergame5245@reddit
Exactly, everyone knows that it’s coming😂.
TernarySquare0123@reddit
Surprise probably isn't the best word. Point taken.

NGL I thought we had 50/50 odds of nukes two weeks ago.
Significant_Donut967@reddit
Trump said it, iran demands the blockade removed, the ceasefire isn't on going at this point.
