If you try to compare Hungarian influence in Romania and Turkish influence in Germany, Hungarians make up 6% of Romania while Turks make up 3% in Germany. Germany, the country with the largest Turkish diaspora, has only a Turkish population of 3%. Wow, what an influence.

I wanted to draw parallel between the Hungarians and Turks. Both are used as EU scape goats, and both are braded as ''Torjan horses undermining the EU'', and yet the Hungarains are among the most convenient EU tools\servants where as Turks stem more towards average diaspora who just wants to mind its own business- and not being a [tool] only ''reconfirms'' the Trojan horse allegations within the minds of the European Elite.

Turks in Bulgaria aren't Turkish migrants, they are a centuries old minority and acknowledged as such in your constitution. If you say Turkey has influence over Bulgaria because of that, then Hungary has influence over Romania and Slovakia according to your logic. If you tell that to any political scientist, they will laugh to your face.

Hungary does have influence over Romania, but the difference is Hungary lends said influence towards the EU as to further solidify it. If Brussels sees that Romania ''acts naughty'' and their only people there are the Hungarian minority in Transilvania, they will have further incentive to amplify the Hungarians over ''the naughty Romanians'' in transilvania- and vice versa, if the Hungarians in Transilvania are the only entity within Romania that goes against the EU, Brussels will quietly purge them by the fast procedures.

Right now as we speak the Bulgarian State TV is airing DW production for the Hungarians in Transilvania called ''Reviving the Magyar Spirit'' or some similar $h!t where they complain about Romanian assimilation- Months prior DW used to post productions how Bulgarians and Romanians are ''the same people'', but after the elections in Romania they went full 180 on that.

The last point I don't really understand, because how does that show us that Turkey has influence in the EU?

Turkey defector became Europe's only energy supplier who had no intentions to undercut itself for ''pleading looks''- this wasn't the plan. The only ones whom ware supposed to benefit from the Embargo on Russian Gas ware the ones who sneakily had build North Stream 2 in anticipation for a War in Eastern Europe. Turkey ''shoud've had'' secured EU brownie points by entering a voluntary self-destructive energy crisis like the rest of us, while turning EU's pitiful attempt of trade embargo into something actually meaningful by bulling all of Asia into following it.
