Hi guys , I am gonna start working as a cabin crew in September and I am planing to start pilot training after that do you recommend doing modular training (I don’t have a problem with spending extra time on it) or do you think i should just go for the Integrated Training after saving money from my job as a cabin crew

To be honest saving at least 80k euros working as cabin crew is going to take you years, I work in a middle eastern airline as cabin crew, many crew I have flown with usually go modular, the best thing you can do if you want to do training in Greece is to save enough money at least 12k, apply for Schengen visa, it’s easy to get as a crew and go do training there for ppl whenever you have time, after focus on ATPL exams, after you finish, try to find a school that can sponsor you visa to finish everything else, but here is the problem to get long term student visa you have to joint an integrated program, or find someone who can sponsor you

I think you should save enough money to pay for PPL. If you actually finish that then consider what's next. Don't borrow money.

Thanks for the advice 💗

If you do integrated you need to save for the course+living expenses meanwhile, would take very long time. If you save 15k get the ppl and keep working while studying the atpl theory on days off, you can keep the job and save money while studying. I'm also cc getting my cpl and (at least for me) was no brainer decision

Well my situation is a bit different because i am gonna be working as a cc in a different country ( the country is in the Middle East ) and i am from a country with a very weak passport and the training i am planning to do is in greece so i have to maintain my job and residency , study in layovers and days off and apply for visa to greece everytime i have to take an exam or do flight hours , all of this while trying to keep my job and save money aggressively, that’s why i am hesitant about the modular training
