RTX 3070 vs RX 9060 XT

Anybody made the switch keeping their old cpu? I am using Ryzen 5 5600.
And playing crimson desert is kinda fine, but could be better maybe?
I watched a ton of youtube videos on these. And when i check a video where the guy is playing crimson on the AMD card it sure seems like the upgrade is worth it for about 400€.
When i check a side by side comparison video the story is the oposite. Does not seem like it is worth it for the few FPS difference.
But seems like the game is still taking about 8 gb vram no mather what the setting on 1440p.
Was thinking the new gpu could tie me over for a year or two. Really do not want to invest much more since I only play FC and now crimson.
Also, only have 16 GB of ram, but i will not be buyin more for now with the pricing.

Very minor gpu upgrade, it's basically a 3070ti with more vram performance wise. Keep your gpu unless you plan to upgrade the tier up at least

ngl, its easy to forget that 3070 is still a pretty decent card. Vram limit hurts but plenty capable.

I use a 3070. It definitely gets limited in high graphic games. But overall can pretty much run anything out there with adjustments.

Worthless upgrade. Buy The 9070xt or just don't

Yeah, also possibilty but i was thinking that my CPU would bottleneck it too much for it to make sense.
I guess just a wishfull thinking to get a better performance from an old pc.
But now is not the time to upgrade the whole PC.

I had a 5800x and the 3070 was an extreme bottleneck at 1440p. When I switched to a 9070xt I was a bit CPU bottlenecked on mostly multiplayer games but used a lot of GPU power for a lot of games with maxed out settings.
If you upgrade the CPU before the GPU, you won't get any performance upgrades so it's worth it.

I was thinking to upgrade just the GPU now. And later and just build a whole new PC in a year or two, maybe.
Also my CPU is not bottlenecking the GPU as of now from what i see. Always at about 40-50% utilisation in what i play.
