I got 4 tickets they were for 1. Parking without hazards 2.parking without triangles 3. Ignoring no parking sign 4. Something about resting/sleeping on ramp.
Am I gonna lose my cdl? I'm pretty sure my csa is gonna go up and lastly do i fight it or just pay it off?

Hire lawyer for any tickets
Justaguy222444888@reddit
Sure as hell not going to lose your CDL for that. As long you don’t have other violations or anything on your record you’ll be fine with your company I’m sure. I know a guy that totaled a car in his first year and didn’t get fired.

It's tmc they're strict so hopefully don't have any other violations. 1 question tho it's says I have 30 days to report after conviction. So that means 30 days after my court date i assume?
nicerakk@reddit
You should report all tickets immediately.
Justaguy222444888@reddit
Not sure tbh. My companies policy is 24 hours to report anything. I would report it immediately so it doesn’t look like you’re hiding it. Honesty and owning up goes a long way. & you gotta realize big companies like TMC deal with people fucking up way worse than that everyday. This isn’t the end of the world.

Fair point it's my first cdl job and I'm only 5 months in and it's also the first job I want completely miserable at so it's got my nerves a lil fried. Thanks
yungpattyWOP@reddit
I fucked up a good bit at TMC and they kept me around. As has already been said, report it to safety, own up to it, and you should be ok.
pingus3233@reddit
Nah, as far as citations go this is relatively mild.

I'm getting mixed messages of i hire a lawyer it'll cost me 2900$ and after I googled it all of them need to be reported
CakewalkNOLA@reddit
Stop using Google to get lawyer rates. Find a law firm that specializes in CMV tickets. $2900 to handle parking violations is way too high.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
That was a quote from a lawyer firm in the county it occurred. I will look around more
Freightliner15@reddit
TVC Pro driver can probably help if you have it coming out of your paycheck. Better than finding an expensive attorney.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Never heard of it but I'll look into it
Freightliner15@reddit
Been around for years and bought by Love's a few years ago. Have adds on the fuel pumps and inside the stores.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Tmc only ever go to pilot flying j lol in 5 months I've been to loves maybe 5 times for food or cat scale
Freightliner15@reddit
Gotcha
doobersthetitan@reddit
Might not lose CDL but you might have to run local if you get those points...or get good lawyer, maybe get it reduced
zMidnight-@reddit
None of those are moving violations. They’re just fines, you don’t even have to report them. By definition you were “parked on a ramp” = non-moving violation. Moving violations like speeding, running a light/stop sign, those you have to report, and do affect your career in driving.
Future reference, you probably learned your lesson, but don’t park on ramps in VA. Every morning when I would run in VA, you’d see state boys writing everybody on the ramps tickets. VA don’t play with parking on ramps
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Oh yeah lesson learn have me the quad combo
SexMachine666@reddit
You're doomed. You should turn in your CDL immediately. DOOMED, I SAY!
/s 🤣
You'll be alright, man. Take a breath.
Existing_Inside5200@reddit
Parking tickets you don't even have to report. Doesn't affect anything. Just pay and forget...
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Even the no flasher and triangle ones?
RebelTvshka@reddit
That's an FMCSA violation. It's no different than any other CSA offense.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Yeah they're all reportable unfortunately
Actual_Handle_3@reddit
Are they written to you the driver, or just the truck?
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
There all under my name
Actual_Handle_3@reddit
Google the codes to see if they're moving violations.
Existing_Inside5200@reddit
I'm not sure about those ones but if they classified the no flasher one as a parking infraction then you're good. The triangle one might be reportable
RebelTvshka@reddit
It's an fmcsa requirement. It goes on your csa score, if they bother with it. So, yes, you need to report it.
Usa696969@reddit
Dui then come talk
ApollyonFE@reddit
They're not moving violations, so they're not a big deal. That being said, I've been out here a long time and never once parked anywhere I wasn't supposed to be for exactly this stupid ass reason 🤣
kane_eightee@reddit
You won’t lose your CDL. Your company may or may not care that much. Plan your trips better. Arkansas and Virginia actively enforce the “no parking on ramps” laws. Pretty sure Georgia and Florida also actively enforce them, but I don’t park on ramps and have only personally witnessed active enforcement in AR and VA.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
Work for tmc and after googling I got 30 days to report the hazards, triangle, and failure to obey sign. So I may be fired
kane_eightee@reddit
Yea, TMC is all I needed to see lmao
SlothyTendecies@reddit
They are actually going to just blow up your truck. Sorry, VA doesn't play about parking on on ramps. RIP.
RabbitFabs@reddit
Straight to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Largofarburn@reddit
It’s not too big of a deal.
Existing_Inside5200@reddit
I'm guessing Virginia is a pain in the ass to find parking?
Largofarburn@reddit
The state troopers are just raging dickheads in VA. They go out every morning around 6:30-7 looking for trucks parked on shoulders in rest areas and on ramps and shit.
theputzulu@reddit (OP)
I was in southbound 85 with 27 min on clock left. Checked south and northbound rest area both filled to brim so I chose an on ramp
Existing_Inside5200@reddit
East Coast needs more parking!
navlgazer9@reddit
I used to Carry some extra triangles just for this , I’d toss at least one in back And one in front ,

Straight to prison
