Those petrol price signs mean nothing to me now

I used to let those number on the petrol price signs dictate my mood, mess up my routine, and wreck my budget😒. But honestly? I’ve completely given up on caring. Nowadays, checking the gas sign feels pointless, I’d much rather go home and check my electricity meter lulz🤣.
I’ve reached a point of inner peace where I’m just focused on my own happiness, staying chill... and, you know, world pecae..

20 years ago I sold my car. I didn't buy another. I purchased bicycles for the family and I. We ride to work, to the shops, take them on the train to holiday destinations, have adventures at the weekend, visit interesting places with the N.T. family card. I do all my own mods, upgrades, and repairs. The car ....is dead...long live the bicycle

Car is a tool, don't say "it's dead" or not, it all depends on your tasks, you can't move your house with your cargo e-bike, or make a 200mi family trip just with your bikes, it's just different tools for a different tasks

It's dead and buried for me. You're right I cant move house....without a removal lorry...yes a lorry...that's what we had 9 years ago.. when we moved, the lovely ribble valley. Ooooh yes I've a cargo bike too I've sucked up the good life. No Fucking Car

Are the goods to the grocery store being delivered by an e-bike? They affect you whether you want them or notÂ
LexLex07@reddit
In the future - this would be solved by PHEV\EV cargo\truck, dude

I did food delivery for 6+ years with a car up until 2 years ago. Had a bad mechanic and had to sell the car, stuck at home for 2+ years. It became harder and harder to make a buck, the gig apps paid less and less, gas prices went up. So saving for an ebike so that I won't have to worry about gas and my electricity is covered in my rent. I need to try to make a few bucks to help supplement disability. I've settled on the Lectric XP4 which seems to be the lowest price I could find for a brand that isn't Amazon fly by nights.
Looking forward to it eventually.

I had a catch-up with a friend in a cafeteria a few days ago. He showed up with his car while I pedaled the 15km trip. When we were leaving he said the travel and the coffee cost over a tenner in total. I counted that my coffee cost the price of coffee and whatever pennies 110 Watts of electricity cost.

Chatgpt doesn't have moodsÂ

I don't use ChatGPT for moods. But I sure get in a 'mood' when I use it for coding and it screws up.

I quit paying attention to gas prices a long time ago. And I'm a lot more stress free because of it. Doesn't really matter what the price is, we're going to be buying it anyway. The news just wants us to be angry and frustrated.

Off topic of course. But focusing on world peace might not be much of a chill experience.
Now back to the ebike topic: I love riding ebikes. Like you say, no petrol costs (here in Canada and US, we call it gas). You can park in very convenient places, even if the parking area is full. You can ride places where autos cannot go. And I have a lot more fun riding the ebike than driving an auto.
