Managing the head smell

What do y'all put in the head to manage that lovely sulfurous "I'm on a boat with a head" smell? I kinda like it because of all the happy sailing associations, but I appreciate that my family doesn't exactly enjoy the smell.
Yes, I do clean the thing and it's functioning fine. Yes, I pump out the tank, and I never dump it in the ocean even if I'm far enough out.
Looking for stuff that gets it DONE - not optimizing for gentle organic home remedies here. I've been using vinegar on the advice of another boater and... maybe it helps?... but not enough. What marvels of modern chemistry can I dump in there that will take care of the smell and won't destroy my plumbing / seals / brain cells?
Thanks, happy sailing, and may your heads be just smelly enough!

Lots of good technical talk in this thread, thanks. Also important to point out that smells are a way for us to know that something imay be awry, because breathing potentially toxic air in a small space isn’t healthy, whether it’s fuel or poo.
That said, you might also look up M9, which you can get unscented. It’s a miraculous smell remover, must be made aliens or someone with a time machine.
M9 is inexpensive like Lysol, but it’s worth its weight in gold and goes a long way. One way to find out what really works is to read Amaz0n reviews. You don’t hove to fund Bezos lifestyle by buying there, just read the reviews and buy from a Mom and Pop or your local chandlery.

Get Peggy halls book and read it. There are so many sources of head stink it’s impossible for Reddit to diagnose your particular problem
