Appropriate workout attire in Italy

I’m moving to Italy for the summer and curious if it is socially acceptable to workout in matching short/sports bra sets like we do in the states. Or should I be most people more modest. I’ve traveled there many times, but always in the winter so not sure what the attire looks like in the hot summers. Thanks!

Yes, even for workouts, especially runs. Most women wear regular clothes and keep the cute, breathable fits for inside workouts where we expect to see majority women.
I'm sure that some people couldn't want to shit on Americans' attire, but the sexual harassment is that bad, especially in Italy, that women censor workout clothes as well.

Very not accepted. Your attire will be frowned upon in all of Europe (we can see you’re American), but especially in Italy and certainly not in a working environment. Italians are wide known for their taste in fashion, men wear suits even in high summer.

Well I said for workouts - talking about for the gym/runs/bike rides - I wouldn’t wear this to a cafe or dinner haha. But I purchased some loose tank tops. Thanks!!

.I think you should try it only If you like attention or inappropriate comments (how is your italian?) from horny italian men who hit on you even if you wear long sleeves and trousers. otherwise...no.

Lol I don’t like to stand out! So if it’s not the normal there I will certainly avoid it. My boyfriend will be with me however so that should help lol
